Just watched the first episode, loving it :P cracking cliffhanger

I'm excited about the next episode, Kill or be killed.

 

 

It's supposed to be the episode where Caroline's mother finds out that Caroline is a vampire. I've been waiting for this to happen forever. Should make for an exciting episode

Well let's just say that Caroline owned that episode. Mason & Katherine, wow, that biatch really has manipulated everyone for so long, I'm uber excited to find out why she's really returned. Liking the Tyler & Jeremy relationship, they'd make a hot couple :P

Jeremy is the sex <3 Easily the best looking guy in the show. Is anybody else not even missing Bonnie & Matt? The lack of them last week was annoying but the story is so gripping, I didn't even seem to notice this week. Loved the episode anyway. Caroline is truly amazing. I'm so glad they gave her more to do because she was VERY dull last year and one of my least favourite characters.

 

Katherine is the best TV villain we have had in a long time.

A lot of characters missing this week: Bonnie, Alaric, Matt, Jenna. Can't say I missed them, even though I really do like most of them. It just says a lot that they can let go of so many characters and still make an episode interesting and keep the plot going. However, Bonnie definitely needs to stick around if they're gonna develop her story properly. Having her do witchy stuff offscreen doesn't cut it, and I want to remain interested in her journey.

Jenna is missing nearly every week so no real surprise there. Maybe Jenna should be turned into a vampire, it would make her much much more interesting...

 

I think I could like Jenna if they actually did something with her character rather than make her say little things that we could have survived without...she's not gripping enough to be considered a main character. It's an insult that Anna wasn't a main character and Jenna is...while doing diddly squat. :/

Sorry but I have to disagree. I don't see the appeal about Damon at all, but then I don't find the actor attractive. Jeremy I have to say is the prettiest actor, but his character isn't "sexy", at least not right now.

As if they mentioned the boys getting topless in the official statement teaser thing! Looking forward to it though, although I've only seen 2 episodes of season 1. Do you know acting? If so then kindly contact the creators of The Vampire Diaries episodes. Actually openly gay The Vampire Diaries producer Kevin Williamson wants to bring a gay character to the show. Recently, the man has said so at the Television Critics Association press tour in Beverly Hills.

Jeremy must be all of 16 that is just wrong to lust after him.Damon is too miserable and has he ever smiled,a gay character would be great.They really need to give Bonnie a better story line, who is she living with now, who is her boyfriend.Too often the black characters are not fleshed out enough.

I really liked this episode, a nice mix of action and sentimental moments. I was scared for Jenna though, even though she practically does nothing on the show I still like her somehow...

 

Interesting twist at the end....obviously tyler will end up killing someone and become a werewolf but will it be Matt?

Yes, this is a US pace thread so as long as it's aired across all time zones in the US then its not considered a spoiler.

All I can say is: F******* awesome episode!! Far too much for me to get in to details, but I loved how they used every single character so well, and how much goes on in a single episode.
