Damon has a werewolf bite so surely death is on the cards for him too?

No way, there will be some cure somewhere.

Maybe when Klaus breaks the werewolf curse on him it also makes werewolf bites ineffective to vampires?

I doubt he will break the curse, if he kills Elena then she will turn into a Vampire making the curse still in effect. At least for this season anyway...

There is footage of what seems to be Klaus turning into a werewolf....I think it's in the promo video.

Yeah I've seen it which is kinda confusing but wasn't it mentioned that turning Elena into a Vampire would be an option to stop the curse from happening? I know that by turning into a Vampire she would technically be dead but I'm sure the curse calls for the doppelganger to be practically buried in the ground...

Can't help but feel something happens that breaks the curse that we're not expecting.....maybe they find the other way?

Oh woops :( I thought the finale episode was called

'Gone With The Wind'

:(

Jenna died, well that's the shock of the century. Bit disappointed that she died, I was hoping they'd pull something interesting and keep her alive, at least for a while longer.

Even though I like Katherine I do think her "care only for myself" attitude is going to truly catch and nip her in the butt someday soon.

Bonnie was amazing in this episode though, she looked fierce.

A message somebody made on another forum that really rang true to me was, the VD writers like killing people off for "drama" way too much and if this was real life half the town would be dead and the authorities would be all over the town.

How do we know the authorities don't already know? The town sheriff does. I'd love for there to be some FBI undercover storyline going on at some point, but that may be stretching the show into just a bit too much Buffy territory.

I agree though. I wonder how they are going to explain Jenna's death and what will happen to Jeremy and Elena now they have no guardians at all left? I do kind of feel that investing in any character that isn't the core three is pretty risky as they just seem to get snatched away at any time. BUT what makes TVD such a brilliant show of its genre is they're not afraid to kill off people. You have to think of the show's 'world' within this context. These things are evil. They are going to kill. Yes, it's done for drama but to have a show like Supernatural or Charmed where there's a magic cure to save everybody, every other week is tiresome and stops adding suspense to the audience. What I love about TVD is that the risks are always so much higher and you never know what to expect.

Jenna :( I know she did nothing and was bland but I liked her.

One town sheriff hardly counts for "The Authorities". Plus she's going to be compromised because of her relationship with Caroline.

It's sad for Jenna that the most exciting thing she ever did was die. :(

I knows. But my point was if she knows, then it can't be very difficult for other outside forces to figure out what's going on. I just find it plausible that as we know from characters on the show, everything supernatural does not live in Mystic Falls so they must exist elsewhere as would humans that know the truth.

and yet they haven't....clearly since there hasn't been any reason to believe the Sheriff has contacted anyone else.

If there are CIA agents that know about Vampires in general they mustn't be interested in one specific place rather the big picture.

I'm just making a lot of guesses. I never said the Sheriff had contacted anybody else. I merely meant that if she was able to find out then there's no reason why authorities elsewhere wouldn't be able to as well :P But I gather they'd be mroe concerned with the bigger picture like you said.

I'm not trying to be a c**t or anything. I agree that it's something they should consider if they want to keep the show realistic [well as realistic as it can be :heehee:]

Ok first of all.....

YAY Vicki and Anna are back!! :cheer: Anna

Maybe not properly....but at least they're here. I wonder if they actually have a concious of their own though....or will they just be like flashbacks. I'm interested to see where Jeremy's new talent leads. :o Bonnie might have some competition now....but surely the dead can't compete with someone who's alive....right?

Also, it might mean we haven't seen the last of Jenna. Heck even Jeremy's parents could make an appearance now. :o

Stefan off the bandwagon again.....that was pretty creepy at the end after he killed the girl. He looked so demonic. :S

Also:

Is Jeremy a necromancer? Can he summon the dead or do they just appear to him like some kind of Ghost Whisperer? :heehee: I am going to be bothered by that ALL summer now! What's your opinion Sabrewulf? Wonderful finale though.
So Elijah's dead but the knife of course leaves it open for him to come back. Jeremy's turned into Jennifer Love Hewitt it seems. Overall it wasn't a bad ep, just hate it when they leave cliffhangers like that

Caught up ready for season 3 :D Urgh, in a way I hate these massive cliffhangers, left wondering for a few months about what the hell will happen, but in another way it's so much better than not leaving us on one. Great to see Anna back in some form, loved her, although I do like Jeremy/Bonnie. Also, seems like this should lead to even more Jeremy next season :D

Regarding Stefan, I think I prefer Elena with Damon now so I don't care if he never returns to them though I doubt that'll happen, he'll recover and return somehow :(

  • 1 month later...
Can't wait for this....I'll actually be on holidays in America when it premieres so I might catch it live
  • 1 month later...

Looking forward to this, I actually wasn't clear when the new series was coming back until I checked it out just now on a whim. Awesome that it's coming in just 3 days! :D

It's like the planned it just for the end of True Blood. :P

So Excited. The first season was brilliant, the second season was amazing, hopefully this will be even better (if that's possible!)
