January 30, 201015 yr but season 5 was amazing :o season 2 is generally considered the worse, but i loved it. not sure on my favourite season I've got to say Season Five is my least favourite season, but I agree with you that Season Two recieves far too much hate. Season One Season Three Season Four Season Two Season Five And no way I'm watching that clip, it's only a few days away, what's the need. bB7dbO-J47Q Edited January 30, 201015 yr by Daniel Gleek
January 30, 201015 yr Author Season 4 is my favourite now looking back at it. The Constant, The Shape of Things to Come and There's No Place Like Home parts 2 & 3 are right up there with my all time favourite episodes of Lost. Season 3 I really liked too, but I put that more down to the finale being absolutely amazing. There were some very fillery episodes, but the Season 3 finale is the best imo. Season 4 is just so touching though - Ben watching his daughter die, Sun thinking Jin is dead, Penny and Desmond having the phone call, Locke & Jack's showdown at the Orchid... they're all top top moments.
January 30, 201015 yr LOST RANK S1 S2 S5 S4 S3 Season 1 will never be beaten. I loved all the characters (except Charlie) and it had me intrigued and excited everytime I watched it. I think Lost has lost a bit of its magic over the last few seasons as I've gotten a bit bored of the constant stupid twists but I still love it. Season 3 was the all time worst though, the first few eps where they're in those cages was just boringgg and also PAULO & NIKKI.
January 30, 201015 yr Series 5 was brilliant imo  If S2 and S5 were swapped then i'd probably agree with Alias's ranking of them. Series 3 did give us Juliet ( ) and some fantastic Others related episodes but parts really arent worth mentinoning tbh. Anyway. I hadnt realized just how little time there is until Lost returns :w00t:
January 30, 201015 yr Author To be honest I agree Lost DID lose a little bit of its magic. I think it's even better how the producers have come out and said it did too. But that's not their fault. It's why there's still going to be so many unresolved questions come the end of the series. Season 3 just got better as it went on imo, although the first 6 episodes were dreadful
January 30, 201015 yr season 3 was the worst, but it was really good towards the end, i dont remember what was what series well enough to rank them though.
January 30, 201015 yr Season 3 started averagely, but it got better and the the last 5-8 episodes got better and better and the finale is the best so far. I prefer it to 2, not sure about others.
January 31, 201015 yr The reason why I rank Season Three so high is because the final stretch of episodes is Lost at it's peaks for me (although I think emotionally there have been higher peaks in other seasons) and was when answers and the show really seemed to be moving up a gear. The time between S3 and Four was when I was at my most obsessed as well. EDIT: The first 60 minutes have leaked online, but the quality is poor. Edited February 1, 201015 yr by Daniel Gleek
February 2, 201015 yr The last question: when is it going to be broadcasted UK-time wise? I figured 2am but i may be wrong :o (5am for me :nocheer: )
February 2, 201015 yr I think it's like 1am for us, but obviously it doesnt finish until 3 (if it's a double episode), I'll be watching it about 1pm tomorrow, so i'll be 12 hours behind. it isnt broadcast on TV until Friday night though. NOT LONG NOW!
February 2, 201015 yr Lost is on our TV on Sundays... like most of us will wait for sunday LOL :heehee: So it's not very suitable time wise so will be watching it tomorrow in good quality as a downloaded file with tea & sweets
February 3, 201015 yr Back from Uni. IMMEDIATELY sat down to initiate a download :kink: Counting seconds now. 3600, 3599, 3598,... :( Edited February 3, 201015 yr by Ljósið
February 3, 201015 yr f*** that was good. It's brilliant how they are getting into the mythology of the island a lot more now, I get the feeling a lot will be explained. it's werid thinking what the smoke monster is, I know it was kind of obvious, but if you think about like when say Ben summoned him when his daughter was killed etc, and I guess when he said he wanted to go home, his home = the temple? I found that meeting between John and Jack in the alt universe was very interesting "nothing's irreversible" including a plane crash eh Jack? although they have exactly reversed what has happened since they first landed on the island, as that still exists, I felt that convosation between the two of them was more of the faith vs science between them, in which case has one of them won due to reversing the plane crash? Jack's meeting with Desmond on the plane is an interesting one, was he actually there? I'm assuming Desmond still did his around the world race? but not found the island, but how did he end up on flight 815? and why cant Jack and him place each other? I think that they may of never met at that stadium where they did, and they couldnt place where they recognised each other, because they do because of the island, but they cant place that. it's going to be interesting to see what ending we have of this alt universe at the end of the series. well lol seeing Arzt again. great seeing Charlie alive again aswell, interesting that he thinks he was supposed to die, another connection to the events of what has happened on the island. I'm really interested to find out what has happened to Christian Shepard, especially after his place on the island. oh and also, I love how Hurely is still amazing, 'who brings a book into a cave'. more questions that arise, what were the risks of bringing sayid back? and are these general risks to everyone, or just a risk to Jack, or just a risk to Sayid, I think we may see what they are soon (my inital impression was something was going to happen to Jack in return for getting Sayid back - Jack because it was his fault that that had happened to Sayid). also something interesting I have read, which I sort of picked up on while watching was that Sayid didnt speak in his normal accent, what I read suggested it was closer to Jacob's, maybe he isnt alive, but Jacob is speaking through him? (although why would Jacob be asking what happened?) (maybe this is why they kept Sayid under water until the hourglass finished, maybe they were bringing Jacob to his body, which is why they seemed to not be affected by Sayid being dead, because they wanted Sayid to be dead, not his body) and now when jacob's enemy person said 'im very dissapointed in all of you' maybe he said that for following Jacob rather than him? the only thing that debunks this theory for me is that he appeared to say it to Sun and Frank aswell. What I found most interesting about this scene though was when he said "without your chains" to Richard, was Richard once a prisoner or slave? I want to know more of this mythology, the sort of stuff that created the temple and the statue, more between Jacob and his nemisis, but i'm not sure if we'll see. oh and anyone notice a shark with a dhama logo was swimming about when the camera was showing the island underwater. ONLY READ IF YOU HAVE SEEN THE SEASON PREMIRE.
February 3, 201015 yr Author Wow. So good. Completely confused though. Loved the alternative storyline. Was a massive 'sssh' moment when we saw the island had sunk. Obviously it wasn't the Jughead bomb though. I want to know where Desmond went? Although I have this funny sort of feeling he was travelling through time and the effects on the bomb have had a different effect on him. I loved seeing how everything was different though. The Jack and Locke story was so touching. Mirrored Locke's own plight on the island, which was a nice touch I thought. Sawyer looks one mean mo'fo now. I can see him going to some very dark places this season. Also Sayid?! That can't be Sayid's soul in his body now? (although I hope it is). Jacob re-incarnated?
February 3, 201015 yr Author On and Chris in relation to Richard, I think it was a reference to him being on the Black Rock which was a slave ship. Not sure how he came to be in the position he is in now, but i'm guessing he had to go through some dark moments to get to where he is. Also Man in Black, i'm pretty sure his home is off island. Draws up some interesting theories and potential questions to be asked though.

Yeah Desmond appearance was very interesting, but obviously he is the one who has travelled through the different times etc, so who knows what is happening with him now and where he is ending up. i've heard that sawyer is going back to his badassness. On and Chris in relation to Richard, I think it was a reference to him being on the Black Rock which was a slave ship. I think there is going to be a Richard-centric episode so hopefully that may answer our questions on him, he is a character I am very interested in, I really want to know his back story. I want to know if there were any inhabitants on the island pre-black rock apart from Jacob and his nemisis, how and why the others were created. what powers Jacob had etc. Man in black/Jacobs nemisis/whatever his name is, would be interesting to see what his home is off island if that is true, well would be intersting if it's on island, i'm not sure if he is human, obviously Jacob is not human, he has some sort of power, i'm not sure if man in black's true form is the smoke monster or not, but he obviously isnt human (he can obviously shape shift - for example into Locke. i'm sure we'll find out more about him by the end of the series.
