March 31, 201015 yr you can tell this episode was a basically a setting up for next week, didnt find it overly exciting tbh. im starting to like Keamy as a character tbh. i like how the mirroring is still going (Jin in trapped on a seat on the island and in the flash sideway). Mikhail getting shot in the eye was cool, cool to see him in the flash sideway aswell. i want more locke vs widmore action tbh, im starting to really wonder what Widmore is up to, I was thinking he was evil deep down, or wanted to become the new Jacob or something, but he seems quite adament about not letting Locke off the island, maybe he still believes in Jacob (like people believe in god sort of thing), why he has Desmond though is a whole different story... hoping for a Desmond episode next week now. is that sideways Des is a good question, although is their a sideway Des? he is the constant after all.
March 31, 201015 yr Author Well Widmore knows a lot more than he's letting on. I thought this episode was full of answers, although indirectly. Desmond is the key to everything? Well it makes sense. Not sure how he's the key, but he's obviously very important to stopping the MiB. The two timelines are starting to meet. I think we saw it in both island events, and ALT events. I don't buy, Sun just "forget" English. She went unconcious and then started remembering in ALT land she can't speak English. The Jin scene made me realise this when Keamy's about to throw him in the fridge. He was very careful about to not letting Jin go unconcious, probably because he might start remembering island events. Keany almost mentioned THE ISLAND in ALT. Interesting. Looking forward to next week anyhow.
April 1, 201015 yr how do we know Sun doesnt know English in Alt land? she was pretending to Jin she didnt know English for ages. when did Keamy almost mention the island? I didnt pick up on that, what did he say? something I did pick up on though was Jack, when he was talking to Sun he seemed very Jacob-esque like the tone and the way he was talking was like when Jacob met all of them off the island, made me think jack would be a good Jacob, although I do believe he doesnt want to become the next Jacob after all the $h!t he has gone through on the island.
April 1, 201015 yr Author I think it's pretty certain she doesn't know English, although you could be right. Keamy mentioned the island once Jin was in the fridge and he was talking to him. Maybe Ji-Yeon could be the candidate? Jin's meant to be infertile, yet in ALT he seemingly isn't. Weird.
April 4, 201015 yr Author Where is Rose and Bernard on the island? Still in 1977 last time we saw them. We've seen nothing since of them, and only seen them briefly in the ALT although they are NOT Adam & Eve
April 5, 201015 yr ^ What? How? Episode with Sun&Jin was ok, but I can't wait for next one with Desmond.
April 5, 201015 yr Author ^ What? How? Episode with Sun&Jin was ok, but I can't wait for next one with Desmond. f*** I messed that up, will edit it now. I mean something different ha. Btw i'm starting to think that the MiB is a pocket of electromagnetism. I re-watched the ep on Sky One. I'm willing to bet why Widmore wants Jin as he knows where electromagnetism spots are over the island, and as we all know Desmond is the KING of electromegnetism.
April 7, 201015 yr and the mirrors get stronger that the flash sideways people are getting flashes of their true life and the feeling seems to be strong, as well as Desmond passing out being mirrored. the two universes are really starting to collide, but how will they merge? good too see Elouise, and she blatanly knows about the two universes (and possibly Charles too). Charlie and Daniel aswell  great seeing them. now I really want to know what Charles is up too, is he doing something not related to jacob vs MiB (To Desmond 'The island isnt finished with you yet') is Desmond even possibly a candidate? He should be the next Jacob imo. oh and in Widmore's office in the flash sideway there is a picture of scales that are balanced (and have black one side and white the other).
April 9, 201015 yr Author I thought it was a really good episode. Left you with that warm feeling inside and even better the ALT storyline is starting to come together. I think LOVE really does sum the show up. Even though they have apparently changed things for the better, they still don't feel the love they felt in the original timeline. The Desmond and Faraday conversation was brilliant - really well constructed. I'm guessing both Widmore and Elouise have knowledge of the other timeline. The ALT word seems to be a fixation of what somebody THOUGHT the characters wanted, but what they really want is to feel the love they felt in the original timeline, at least, that's my perception of it. On island terms though - a little bit miffed by Desmond just going off with Sayid.
April 9, 201015 yr Desmond seemed proper werid though, like he was on something, just some dopehead walking about without a clue. its like i'll just walk off with widmore, now i'll just walk off with sayid, and now i'll just walk into a tree.
April 14, 201015 yr pretty good episode, its starting to come together quite a bit now, was well good seeing Michael, the revealtion about the whispers was pretty cool, so is every time Hurley speaks to dead it's someone trapped on the island for something bad they did? which leads me to wonder what Jacob and Isabella had done and also could Micheal speak to anyone, or is it just Hurley? Was interesting seeing Chang in the flash sideways, as he hasnt aged, and he didnt die when the bomb went off, werid. Desmond running over Locke was interesting aswell, as I thought he was looking for all the 815ers to see if they cant love? so why did he run Locke over? is it to do with the fact Locke is in love in the flash sideways, or did Des have his flash to the other reality and saw evil Locke, so tried to kill him? :s I'm sort of annoyedd Illana is dead, I didnt particulary like her character but we havent had her explained yet. The well was interesting aswell, built by people lookign for answers? obviously a old generation of losties before the ones we have been following, all everyone has looked for is answers, maybe the wells were built by the last generation who were looking for answers? i'd quite like more to be established about the pre-Richard on island time, I dont need too see it, I just want someone to explain. seeing the boy again was interesting, seems to be really p***ing off MiB, why is it, and who is he, and is he alive, im sure were getting the answers to those soonish though. im thinking he threw Desmond down the well as Desmond would be helping Widmore. and what i really want to know is, why did MiB greet Jack but no one else, he was definatly particulary interested in Jack.
April 14, 201015 yr Author Well it's not only love in the Sideways, it's near-death experiences too, so that's why he ran over Locke. The whispers are just the souls trapped on the island I think. They're probably trying to warn people of danger, e.g. with Shannon. Just what was the point in Ilana? Although I didn't expect that at all. One final point, I think Desmond's also a candidate. He's not going to be dead from being thrown down that well, no way.

Are you saying for them to see the other universe they need a near-death experience which is why Des ran over Locke? becuase Hurley didnt have one. And Desmond will definatly be back, wouldnt surprise me if there is a way out of the well aswell.

And Desmond will definatly be back, wouldnt surprise me if there is a way out of the well aswell. Charlie said it was caused by near death experiences/love. Charlie experiences it when he choked on heroin, and Desmond experiences it when he's drowning/not drowning. I guess with the others it will be: Sayid: Nadia/Shannon Jack: Kate Kate: Jack/Sawyer Sawyer: Juliet Claire: Charlie Sun: Being shot Jin: Not sure.
April 15, 201015 yr but Hurley didnt have a near death experience? unless almost meeting a girl is a near death experience for him.
April 18, 201015 yr but Hurley didnt have a near death experience? unless almost meeting a girl is a near death experience for him. I'd say it's more a life affirming/changing experience - e.g. a great love, near death experience
April 21, 201015 yr Author So Jack's THE last recruit we're to take it? Is it just me that thinks perhaps Jack died in the explosion, and now against his will he's been claimed by the MiB? The episode was obviously a real set-up for next weeks episode where the battle between MiB and Widmore will commence. Aside from the episode being a bit of a set-up I really enjoyed it, all of the flash forwards were pretty interesting as well. Just a shame there's a two week hitaus now!
April 21, 201015 yr thought that was a brilliant episode, interesting about Jack and Locke now, I cant see Jack planning on staying with Locke, I think he now wants to be the new Jacob, thats why he left the boat, I also see a massive flaw in Sawyer's plan, what does he some how know how to use a sub? although f*** knows what is gonna go on with the now. It's great that the flash sideways are starting to come together alot now, the most interesting thing being Sun seeing Locke, I think it's obvious some of them are seeing him as Man in Black, thats the reason i think Desmond ran him over imo.
