thought that was a brilliant episode, interesting about Jack and Locke now, I cant see Jack planning on staying with Locke, I think he now wants to be the new Jacob, thats why he left the boat, I also see a massive flaw in Sawyer's plan, what does he some how know how to use a sub? although f*** knows what is gonna go on with the now.

 

It's great that the flash sideways are starting to come together alot now, the most interesting thing being Sun seeing Locke, I think it's obvious some of them are seeing him as Man in Black, thats the reason i think Desmond ran him over imo.

 

Jack definitely doesn't want to be with Locke, as he wants to stay on the island. I don't think Jack will become the new Jacob, I can still see Jack dying (if he's not already dead and been claimed by MiB). Sawyer can't use the sub as well, as Widmore's gone back on his deal, so i'm guessing he's going to use them as hostages, as MiB obviously wants something to do with Sawyer etc. and obviously MiB has got Desmond. I wonder what Sayid has done with Desmond... he's clearly not dead. I think Sayid's final act of redemption will be revealing where Desmond is before he kicks the bucket.

 

I'm not sure whether Desmond saw Locke as the MiB, I still think he knocked him down like that so that he would remember the island life, as I think when he wakes up he'll remember Jack and realise that he wants to walk again as he did on-island.

So Jack's THE last recruit we're to take it? Is it just me that thinks perhaps Jack died in the explosion, and now against his will he's been claimed by the MiB?

Chris is right, the only time I can see Jack dying, if ever, is in the finale.

 

So stoked for next week, people who've seen it are calling it a game changing episode :dance: it's took me by surprise that after this week, there are only two episodes left before the finale.

 

So who do you think the centrics will be for the final few episodes? My guess is;

 

The Candidate : Multi-Centric, similar to last episode, as everyone in the alt timeline begin to come together and realise "they don't belong there." I can see it leaning more towards Locke.

 

Across the Sea

: Maybe MiB centric? As the title reminds me of the line Flocke said to Sawyer in the Substitute.

 

What They Died For

: I think we will get another Jack episode before the season is out, they have gotten all the other character's centrics out of the way, and as arguably he is the most important character, I can see him having the episode before the finale.

 

The End

: Clearly it will be multi-centric for the finale.

a MiB centric episode will be amazing. after talking to a mate the other day who also watches it and is also rewatching season 2 right now, we both realised, this is the best progamme ever. seriously its gonna end and we will still be rewatching it in 10 years trying to work things out.

There's no way Jack will die until the very end either. I'm not sure whether he will be the new Jacob (seems a little bit too obvious imo), but I guess we'll see in due course. I used to think Jack would always die at the end, now i'm not so sure. I think he will either survive, or it will be left very ambigious what happens to Jack. Infact, I could see Damon and Carlton doing that at the end of the show. It's obvious the ending is going to be very ambigious I think.

 

I just can't believe it's almost over. I'm so looking forward to seeing the show's end, but I know there will never be another show like this on television.

TBH Rooney I dont think just the next episode is going to be amazing, what is it 5 hours left now or something? every episode now is going to be f***ing amazing. im in two minds right now that are colliding, one of those minds cannot wait for the epicness and amazingness of the end of this amazing story, and the other mind is really really sad after all these years it's actually coming to an end.

This is the best TV show I have ever seen and I will be shocked if I find another ever so great, it mixes up many themes and genres, has excellent character development and is just everything you could ever need from a TV show, i'd go as far to say this is the best story ever told and I will probaly end up rewatching Lost and hyping it and talking about it until I die.

I honestly wonder what the ending will be like? Like I said before, I always used to think Jack would die at the end, but now the more I think about it (and the way the whole Jacob thing has happened this season) I don't think he will. I get the feeling Jack will still be on the island at the end of the show. Maybe another plane will crash, and the new bunch of candidates to replace the new Jacob will emerge? Who knows. Just so long as the show doesn't end of a cliffhanger i'll be pleased.

The Candidate was a truly amazing episode. Best single episode i've seen on television all year. Very sad. I guess we got confirmation who the actual candidate is. I never thought i'd shed a tear at watching a television programme either, but oh my. That scene really got me.

quite sad Sayid is dead, and possibly Frank, the Sun/Jin death scene was really dragged out, I dont know why but I just feel a bit unaffected by their deaths.

 

so Locke was planning to get them all in one place to kill them then, so maybe he doesnt want off the island, he just doesnt want a replacement for Jacob? Nice to see Sayid wasnt so evil, he scarificed him self for the others, and told Jack about Desmond, Des is obviously really important in not being defeated by MiB now, its going to be interesting to see who will replace Jacob or whether or not MiB will remain alive, without MiB is there any need for a Jacob, or is there someone who needs to "protect" the island?

Frank is definitely dead, he got knocked out, there's no way he'd be able to survive that. Only Jack, Hurley, Kate and Sawyer survived, i'm sure of that.

 

I think the show is definitely about fate. Think about it, Jack was convinced that the bomb would not detonate, but Sawyer didn't want to take that chance and ended up causing the explosion. So it's basically the candidates vs MiB now. Where the hell have Miles, Ben and Richard gone though? Really not liking their disappearance.

we must see Richard et al before the end, I thought we would see them again by now, but we need that loose end tied up now, I was sort of hoping they would be back like 2 episodes later, but obviously not ): I thought they intended to destroy the plane anyway, maybe they are the ones who planted the c4 not Widmore or MiB (although im thinking it's MiB he put it there to go and get, he knew for sure it was on there as he stole the watch before he got it).

Actually, I think you might be onto something with Ben, Miles and Richard that they were the ones who planted the C4, as it's been a few days since they've gone. We've got to see them in the next episode (6.16, as 6.15 is a bit different..). Perhaps they've all already dead? They've got to be on Hydra island I think.

 

I really want to know who Juliet shots in the outrigger scene as well. I hope they don't forget about it. I have a feeling it might be someone like Zoe or Widmore though.

I hope Richard et al arent dead, infact Richard cant die can he, unless he was killed? its possible MiB killed them i guess (after he saved them from the cages at the start of the episode), i'm also wondering Widmore's stance on this episode's events, maybe MiB killed all Widmore and his people when he went smokey this episode.
