January 20, 201015 yr I think i kind of read the answer to the first one somewhere a while ago. Don't remember it already so no loss  LMFAO at the video! I remembered that it's in 2 weeks so got uberly excited in the Uni today :w00t: There is a person who can't wait for this show in my group so we will be so annoying indeed talking about it all days long. <3
January 20, 201015 yr Author I don't actually know what the number mean (well apart from the Valzetti equation thing or whatever it is) but what they relate to is actually jaw-dropping.
January 20, 201015 yr I can't believe what imagination you must have to create such kind of show in the first place!
January 20, 201015 yr f*** im so excited to find that out. im literally at the point that i'm talking about Lost and not much else, it annoys the tits off people. Sadly I dont have a fellow Lost loon in college that I can talk to the next day after seeing it, unlike at school where I did. I cant wait to come on here and various other forums after each episode and just discuss the f*** out of them.
January 20, 201015 yr I can't believe what imagination you must have to create such kind of show in the first place! This. it is really like nothing else out there, I say without hesitation that it is the greatest piece of TV ever made, nothing much comes close to beating it.

I'm lucky to have one :kink: I've decided to probably f*** the Uni and watch the first episodes on wednesday early morning of February 3rd.
January 20, 201015 yr yeah, I might end up bunking college for it, although I only have one lesson on Wednesday's anyway, so I might start downloading when I wake up, and then when m back from college it will be done. I perfer watching in the evening but i'm not sure i'd be able to wait. it's on the week of my graphics and media deadline aswell, such a distraction is not going to help.
January 20, 201015 yr Feeling sorry for you :( So glad there are no deadlines pressuring myself this time of the year! :cheer: Actually I kind of got EXCITED about the prospect of discussing it afterwards in the Uni and annoying others, how f***ed up i am
January 20, 201015 yr This. it is really like nothing else out there, I say without hesitation that it is the greatest piece of TV ever made, nothing much comes close to beating it. Well I strongly, strongly, strongly recommend watching Battlestar Galactica, is on Lost level of epicness and mythology, has IMO better writing (it won a peabody award), acting, themes, special effects, score (some of the score is still in my personal chart), characters etc and far better developed relationships. When Lost is over give it a try, you might just find it fills the void. I myself never thought anything would trump Lost, but this did and in spades. Here's a little summary of what the show is about from wikipedia; "Battlestar Galactica is set in a distant part of the galaxy, where a civilization of humans live on a series of planets known as the Twelve Colonies. In the past, the Colonies had been at war with a cybernetic race known as the Cylons. With the unwitting help of a human named Gaius Baltar, the Cylons launch a sudden ambush on the Colonies, laying waste to the planets and devastating their populations. The handful of human survivors flee into space aboard any spacecraft they can reach. Of all the Colonial Fleet, the Battlestar Galactica appears to be the only military capital ship that survived the attack. Under the leadership of famed military leader Commander William "Bill" Adama, the Battlestar Galactica and its crew take up the task of leading the small fugitive fleet of survivors into space in search of a fabled refuge known as Earth." One thing Lost does better is mystery though (although I got to watch BSG all the way through without breaks, so I never had much time to ponder all the questions) and I'm so lucky that I got a fellow Lost geek in my next door neighbour, and I also got two other friends who are hooked, and I'm lending my Lost DVDs to three more people, so I will have an army of people to discuss the show with on top of coming on here (I am NOT going to IMDB, the shotgun spoilers are too much of a risk). And oh my God Rooney, I can't believe all those stuff has leaked and I feel sorry for you - did someone spoil you or did you llok them up yourself? But what you have said about the numbers and what it relates too, you have got me 100x more excited :w00t: :w00t: :w00t: The first thing I'm doing after school on Wednesday is watching Lost. I'm so lucky I have an empty house then, I hate watching things on the computer when the living room tele is on or a lot of people are talking <_< Especially for something as important as this lol P.S Christopher watch this BSG trailer and see what you think - I managed to get my mum, uncle and friend hooked after I made them watch this and all three have seen it the whole way through now  q2x14ZhEc9k Edited January 20, 201015 yr by DanielMiles17
January 20, 201015 yr Author Well the numbers one I spoiled for myself. Basically I was given a taster, and then when I found that out I wanted to know what it all meant. There's still more to it. I don't want to say anything but it is seriously jaw-dropping stuff when you find out what it relates to. I seconded guessed about what the smoke monster is as well... although i'm hoping there's more to it, or else i'll be mega disappointed.

Oh wow, seriously the numbers thing, I can't wait - I thought the Valenzetti equation was all we were going to get. And with the smoke monster please don't tell me it's what all the fan forums are speculating about; that it's actually the Man in Black and he's been manipulating events the whole time. January 20, 201015 yr I do plan on watching BSG actually. but i'm getting a bit of a list, I want to watch all of The Wire aswell as finish The Sopranos (ive seen season 1 but still havent got round to 2-6).

I'd say move BSG to the top of you list, especially if you like Lost as much as you seem to do, BSG is the most similar to Lost in terms of scope, mythology and concept, more so than The Wire or The Sopranos (they are also on my list after I finish Six Feet Under). Try watching the mini-series (which is like a feature length pilot before the 1st season aired) and see what you think. Edited January 20, 201015 yr by DanielMiles17
January 20, 201015 yr problem is im overloaded with things to watch, due to a levels getting in the way of my watching  (watching tv>education) I have the whole of Friends on DVD to watch, aswell as Fringe season 1 on DVD. then all those shows i've mentioned, i'll get to them all in time, just got to get through everything else first lol.
January 20, 201015 yr Author So i've read, that is the truth yes. :( I hope to God there's more to it. I'll give a teaser about the numbers. Honestly don't read this if you don't want to be spoiled in any way, but it's not the whole thing about the meaning of the numbers, just a little teaser. each number is assigned to 6 of the Losties, so six of the Losties have either a 4,8,15,16,23,42 assigned to them somewhere on the island. . Sounds mind-blowingly interesting doesn't it?
January 20, 201015 yr OMG Read the first part of the spoiler and stopped. I'm surprised how i am improving. You made it worse now Rooney by saying it's jaw-dropping btw :(
January 20, 201015 yr yeah Rooney your killing me. it's hard to resist the spoilers, BUT I SHALL. seriously nothing is gonna ruin this season for me.

Yeah I know what you mean, apart from on the weekends I haven't watched TV for like a month, all my time is taken up by doing cw and revising (and being on here :kink:) And I forgot about Fringe, I watched about five episodes and stopped, and I've got the first season DVD set (I haven't even taken it out of the wrapping). And oh for fudge sake, how utterly rubbish about the smoke monster. I really do hope there's more to it than that, everyone guessed it more or less straight after the season five finale, but I will keep the faith Darlton won't let us down. I hope. And omg why did I read that teaser, that sounds so mindblowing already. I now pledge not to read a single Lost related news/hints/spoilers. Even though I know I won't be able to :( Edited January 20, 201015 yr by DanielMiles17
