on first listen, it's probably one of my favourite pop albums for a long time :o very strong and surprisingly varied, some in yer face pop, some High School Musical chant-like pop, some gorgeous ballads, a OneRepublic sounding song, and a bizarre Enya-influenced song at the end...

 

Highly recommended! This girl has been the surprise package of the year for me...

The production on this album is brilliant. I'm pleasently surprised that I like it actually. Need to give the album a couple of more listens though, coz I can't remember most of the tracks :heehee:

I agree, it's very fresh and up to date, a lot of money has been thrown at it quite clearly :heehee:

I like the little new mini intro at the start of Music Everywhere that the album version has :o I have to say though, I really like both Impatient and Do Avesso :heehee:

It's very catchy, she could do really well with this song ^_^

the album apparently sold 23,000 copies on day one in Finland :o they have a population of around 5 million so this is the equivalent of somebody selling 276,000 albums in one day in the UK (23k x 12 based on 60 million people living in the UK)

 

so she's a rather big star there then :lol: after about 7 or 8 listens, and having now got the album physically (came in the post the other day), I can confirm that this is one of my favourite pop albums of the year, love every song on here :wub:

 

I have to say, I absolutely love this, it's very different, a new age sort of song (like a young Enya), in Portugese yet with a Timbaland style bassline;

 

second single in Finland is Impatient :D gorgeous song, my second/third favourite on the album (tied with Capital C), great choice!!! A little bit 'Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman' melody wise in the verses

Brilliant. It could be the 'Release Me' of 2010 then (A shock hit). Well here's hoping anyway!

Some minor changes but nothing too drastic or noticeable. I doubt such a simple pop song will take of in the UK but it certainly stands a better chance than the bizarre decision of releasing 'Vinegar' last year.

I'm not too sure actually, I haven't read anything about a release date or even management & label for that matter. I just jumped to the conclusion from them producing the new video but I suppose it could be for any country. :unsure:
