You have to say the smae for Portugal as well though. England's final balls have been poor and England are being penalized for the stupidest things. Lampard is having another poor game as well.

 

IMO we switch to a 4-42 but then we'll be out numbered in midfield so meh.

We seem to be pathetic at the moment, they need to rise their game in the second half, Rooney seem to be left on his own with hardly support.

 

I hope they get a good talking to, to up their performance, its like their last game, same thing happened until they scored.

As I feared the ref is giving fouls to Portugal for the slightest things yet England are struggling to get favourable refereeing decisions - Terry's Yellow card (which rules him out of the Semi-Final - if we get there -) is a joke.

At the moment Joe Cole is playing very poorly.

 

With this referee it is pointless bringing on Crouch because every time the ball get's near to him he will blow up for a foul. But if the score is level with 15mins left, I would like to see Sven bring on Lennon & Walcott for Joe Cole & Frank Lampard to run at the Portuguese players.

Not looking good, passing in the first half has been poor, especially when going forward hence the lack of any real good chances at goal.

Many players already look tired out, including Gerrard and had many poor passes and at one point he just stood near the middle of the field doing nothing.

Will be surprised if England can maintain the same level ion second half as the the poor performance in the first.

If you don't want to see a poor England performance switch off your TV.
