Posted May 28, 200916 yr http://superlative1.files.wordpress.com/2008/01/livvi-franc.jpg I'm lazy. HER MYSPACE INTRO: Livvi Franc is a luscious 21 year old diva-in-the-making with distinctive vocal and songwriting ability. This Bajan beauty is one part island girl, some parts maneater, and all parts uniquely Livvi. The debut single "Now I'm That Bitch," produced by Salaam Remi (Amy Winehouse), sends a clear message - a "Bitch" is all about "Being In Total Control of Herself" and Livvi is certainly in control on her debut album, featuring production from RedOne (Lady GaGa), JR Rotem (Rihanna, Leona Lewis), Greg Kurstin (Lily Allen, Kylie Minogue), and more. First single is 'Now I'm That Bitch' which obviously getting a BIT OF A PUSH: 01. Now I’m That Bitch (Dirty Version) 02. Now I’m That Bitch (Kaskade Radio Edit) 03. Now I’m That Bitch (Kaskade Club Mix) 04. Now I’m That Bitch (Mike Rizzo Funk Generation Mix) 05. Now I’m That Bitch (Jason Nevins Electro Radio Edit) 06. Now I’m That Bitch (Jason Nevins Rhythmic Radio Edit) 07. Now I’m That Bitch (Jason Nevins Club Mix) 08. Now I’m That Bitch (Jason Nevins Club Dub Mix) 09. Now I’m That Bitch (Sam Sparro Remix) 10. Now I’m That Bitch (DiscoTech Remix) 11. Now I’m That Bitch (Serafin Remix) vZwxLjPsHp0 It's kind of ridiculously catchy. 'This Is A Raid' and 'She Loves Love' have potential as well.
May 28, 200916 yr Author It's amazing. Both the Jason Nevins remixes at least. She's obviously gonna be pretty massive with all the support she's getting. Connections, much?
May 28, 200916 yr Yeah, I'm not really liking her or the music on first impressions. That press release does its best to put people off doesn't it? Reading it tells me that she's a slag, basically. 'Now Im That Bitch' has nice enough beats but it's just a watered-down Electrik Red song, sound and theme-wise. They've raised the bar for slutty and proud R&B. Also Livvi's styling is foul.
May 28, 200916 yr Author Oh that intro is the most self indulgent thing I've ever read LAWLZ. Painful. But surely you find it at least somewhat catchy?
May 28, 200916 yr Yeah I do think it's catchy. Not really the sort of thing that is going to launch a 'diva in the making' but a potential hit.
May 28, 200916 yr Yeah I do think it's catchy. Not really the sort of thing that is going to launch a 'diva in the making' but a potential hit. You could have said the same thing about 'Pon De Replay' which launched fellow Bajan Rihanna, and look where she is now. :P I think this is pretty good, though I can see myself tiring of it quickly.
May 28, 200916 yr :cheer: finally a thread about her and love the song...I've been listening almost for a month now...and from remixes my fave is Kaskade one.

But Pon De Replay wasn't just an almagamation of all of the other songs which were hits at the time whereas this sort of is, and on top of that Rihanna was very lucky to get a continued push when for a while she wasn't that huge a success...
June 13, 200916 yr Single version features the monstrosity that is Pitbull. I'll stick to the SOLO version thanks.
July 1, 200916 yr Popjustice's song of the Day: http://www.popjustice.com/index.php?option...&Itemid=279 Released Sept 21st :D
August 9, 200915 yr thank god for Mikal and the Jason Nevins remix, as the radio edit is a bit of a letdown :(
August 9, 200915 yr Yeah, Nevins remix is about a billion times better but the radio edit is still rather good imo
