Housewives star reveals why he's so in love with Ulster babe*

ULSTER babe Nadine Coyle managed to bag one of the world's sexiest men - by keeping her cool.

 

Desperate Housewives star Jesse Metcalfe could have his pick of showbiz beauties after shooting to fame in the hit TV show.

 

But it was Girls Aloud star Nadine's standoff attitude that helped fuel his desire.

 

Jesse, 27, said: "Initially I was struck by the way she looks. Obviously she's gorgeous.

 

"But I think it was the way she played it so cool, the way she carries herself, she is definitely is a lady. She has a lot of respect for herself. This definitely drew me to her."

 

Derry girl Nadine, 21, may have played it cool but Jesse couldn't hide his true feelings when he met her in Sydney, Australia, last January.

 

And when she gave him her number, he was so nervous he took it down wrong.

 

Jesse laughed: "I tried to call her the next day and couldn't get through so I was frantic, thinking I've got to find this girl before she leaves.

 

"So I finally tracked her down to her hotel and I left her flowers."

 

The couple were immediately drawn to each other and late-night long-distance calls were soon flying between London and Los Angeles.

 

Despite his on-screen playboy image, Jesse claims his priorities have changed since meeting Nadine, who is spending more and more time in Los Angeles with him. He told OK! magazine: "Right away after the first night we hung out I knew I wanted to spend more time with her.

 

"I went back to LA and she came back to London but we talked constantly on the phone.

 

"We really got to know each other without the whole physical aspect clouding your judgment but I felt strongly about her pretty quickly.

 

"I've been living the bachelor lifestyle for a while, partying a lot so I could be done with it."

 

Nadine also revealed how she fell head over heels for Jesse just minutes after they first met.

 

She said: "First of all I just thought he was gorgeous. And then you know when you just feel so at ease talking to someone.

 

"I was shocked that I felt so comfortable with him."

 

The pop beauty has even brought Jesse home to Northern Ireland meet her parents.

 

But he was so nervous he ended up having a few too many drinks for Dutch courage.

 

Jesse admitted: "I was very drunk. But it seemed they warmed to me. Nadine's family are really cool people."

 

 

Some magazine were saying theyre going to get married.

I want them to get married and im normally against it, they are both stunning people.
