March 8, 201015 yr Why can't they tour anywhere near me? :( Hopefully they'll be at Leeds or do another tour (arena?) before the year's out Anyway, 'For He's A Jolly Good Felon' is the next single. Out 5th April I believe :)
March 8, 201015 yr Brilliant :D Here's hoping they don't clash with anyone major this year. Honestly that clash with Radiohead was annoying
March 10, 201015 yr Author I'm pretty sure if they play Reading/Leeds they'll be subbing one of the headliners. Can't see it being Arcade Fire they sub, or Blink (Paramore to sub Blink). And it would just be weird if they subbed My Chemical Romance if they played as Lostprophets are far bigger imo, and would be a much better choice as a headliner. Honestly they were so good at Leeds last year and they only played 9 songs. Here's hoping the other headliner is a surprise.

If MCR have new material out by then it could work, and I thought Green Day were due to play Reading & Leeds?

If MCR have new material out by then it could work, and I thought Green Day were due to play Reading & Leeds? Green Day seem to be out of the picture now, it seems it is definatly Blink and Arcade Fire and then most likely MCR ( :puke2: )
March 11, 201015 yr Author I still think Green Day is plausible. Just not sure yet. MCR I hope do not headline, they'd be a very good sub-headliner, just not a headliner. The more I think about it, the more i'm coming round to Arcade Fire being a good headliner. I think they're big enough. Massive cult status and they've definitely become a lot bigger through their songs being used in commercials etc. I think it could work to be a very genius plan. Eminem, Muse and Kasabian were meant to be headlining T In The Park - but Arcade Fire are headlining (I guess instead of Kasabian). Reminds me a bit of Kings of Leon 2008 Glastonbury. I don't think people thought they were big enough to headline really, but look at how much of a genius plan that turned out to be. Could be a similar case with Arcade Fire.
March 11, 201015 yr efestivals completly took green day off, i cant see it happening if efestivals took them right off, they are normally right. they should get a metal band to headline, it's Reading tradition.
