Posted August 23, 200915 yr I have decided to make a fan book for The Saturdays, that I will send off to them when they would sign copies of Forever Is Over. I'm trying to think of what I could put in there. I have an idea that I will make a page for each of them, using the colours they were in from the If This Is Love video. Could you guys help me think of other stuff I could put on the pages? Thanks a lot for this. :)
August 24, 200915 yr When my mate made one for the Veronicas, she added early promo pics of them and single covers, tour pics, lyrics etc. Youd be surprised how quickly this goes from their memory...
September 3, 200915 yr myself and a friend from the official Delta Goodrem forums decided we would to a "European Fanbook 2009" because she hadn't been here in the UK for over 5 years. We used the official 3rd album cover and edited it a bit, wrote personal messages to her, some pictures from UK events she did, pictures of ourselves. Song lyrics and an idea i put forward was a map in the middle of the book of europe where all the fans who wanted to would give you their location eg "surrey, england" and they could colour code or number their area.
September 7, 200915 yr Dont include TOO many pictures of themselves on it is what i would suggest, unless you associate a personal memory with it, like a tour picture or a single cover, or your fave picture of each member (and annotate them and say why you like the pictures etc). I say this because when i met Nicola Aloud some fan loon had just handed a three page booklet with pictures of herself on it and you could see that she was simply like "Okay... and i have pictures of myself why?" It wasnt even annotated or had a "Hey Nicola... from so and so" on it. Oh and try and make it personal to them as well, like if you write to Frankie, be sure to mention Dougie, or someone/something unrelated to the band that shows you take more of an interest than just the music. Small touches like that, i think, make the difference :)
