Shake It Off is my favourite Mimi track and it sounds particularly festive on a bleak day like today. How do you lambs think it's aged, and did you want it released a single back in 2005? Does the plastic fantastic video make you giggle or cringe? Share your thoughts!
August 25, 200915 yr One of my favourite tracks from her. I quite like the video too. It's a shame it wasn't released as the main single in the UK when it was released with "Get Your Number".
August 25, 200915 yr Well "Get Your Number" is my favourite from Mimi but I love this song too. Nice video aswell.
August 25, 200915 yr Thought this track was distinctly MEH when I first heard it and my opinion hasnt changed tbh!!.....i was one of the ones that wanted Say Somethin released after WBT. I think its a much better song personally!
August 28, 200915 yr Thought this track was distinctly MEH when I first heard it and my opinion hasnt changed tbh!! Same, I don't really get the love for this track. It's alright, but it's a bit bland and doesn't sound like a single. Much preferred "Get Your Number" to this. I don't think it's aged too badly, it could easily be a track from the last album or maybe even the next one.

I agree ^_^ I always thought it was a bit silly to release it too, it would have flopped without Get Your Number imo.
August 28, 200915 yr Author Well it was #2 in the US, only held off by We Belong Together so quite clearly it wasn't a stupid single choice, and of course it would've flopped without Get Your Number which is why we got a double-a side.

September 10, 200915 yr I hate it, her worst song by far for me. 'Get Your Number' was quite good though I have to admit.
