It wasn't an immediate favourite of mine, but it's easily her most commercial single in a while. I'm just gutted it's also headed to be her biggest flop at the moment. Even Chipmunk can't save her. :(

I agree. This really doesn't deserve to be her biggest flop, it's one of my favourites from Bev. But the fact that Chipmunk couldn't save her is just awful. :(

It really annoys me how someone so great seems to be shoved to the side and ignored in terms of airplay. I have no idea why, I wouldn't be surprised if most stations didn't even listen to "In Your Shoes". :(

I was hoping it would too. If it was released in the "Affirmation" era it would have easily been another top 20 hit for her, it just seems impossible for Beverley to do anything right in the eyes of TV and radio these days. I think she's seen as 'past it' or 'MOR' when I think she's on as good form right now as she's every been.

 

X Factor is exactly the sort of thing she needs to get noticed, but I can't see her ever being asked and I don't think she's a huge fan of these sorts of shows.
