Did anyone watch the first episode in the new series of Shooting Stars? I thought it was the best for some time.

 

Vic's tattoo was hilarious, as were the bits when they tried to make Jack laugh and the part with the corn cobs / cucumber. Could it be that Vic & Bob are back to being really funny again for the first time in nearly 15 years? Is it time for a new series of "The Smell Of..."?

 

You've Been Filmed was great too.

i watched it expecting (enfield/whitehouse type) of naffness, failing to capture past highlights....i was wrong! shooting stars was good humoured fun with occassional hilarity! indeed that tattoo scene was :rofl: absolutely brilliant!

I loved it first time round completely forgot about it coming back on.

Totally wasn't expecting how much of a life affecting moment Shooting Stars coming back would be for me!

Yeah, shame the second episode wasn't nearly as funny. Wish the bloke they've got on each week wasn't on either, he's pretty crap.

Hmm...I'm quickly changing my mind on this.

 

Either that or I've finally accepted that Bob Mortimer just simply isn't funny any more. He was fine as Vic's "straightman" (as straight as he could be I suppose), but now he's just jarring.
