Posted August 30, 200915 yr 1-NEW Britney Spears (505,000): In addition to that impressive total, she sold 486,000 worth of digital track downloads (total 991,000 in U.S alone), with 11 tracks on the top 200. Something to be said for relative coherence when you're releasing a new album. 2-2 last week Taylor Swift (193,000; 1.27 million total): Drops 28% in its fourth week, but that follows a 23% uptick, so no problems here. 3-4 Beyonce (153,000; 893,000 total): Not a good week overall, outside of Britney, so Beyonce climbs a spot on the chart despite a 41% third-week slide. 4-1 Kanye West (142,000; 593,000 total): Down 69%, which seems to be this week's designated second-week decline (see Top 10 Dropouts below). 5-7 Nickelback (133,000; 638,000 total): Another illusory improvement; it's down 25% in sales. 6-8 Twilight (133,000; 692,000 total): Likewise, down 18%. :o
August 30, 200915 yr Why wasn't it counted? :o Because the official sales of CIRCUS as an album was actually 505,000 including digital and physical copies. The other 486,000 are from songs downloaded from the album, not the album as an entirety being downloaded.
August 31, 200915 yr Author 505,000 copies including digital and physical copies of album. 486,000 copies including all album tracks from album (SH, UU, OFU, KTL ...) When album was released album tracks has charted in chart too, and they sold all together 486,000 copies. Hope u get it now ;)
