I just read about this on a friend's Facebook status, so excited now! If Ryan Seacrest say it's going to get to number one, it normally means it will do. I think Leona will walk all over Alexandra saleswise personally.

Well if it's true it was produced by Ryan Tedder, it probably will be a ballad.
Just confirmed by an insider on DS that Leona does have writing credits on 'Happy'. :D Fantastic, her first single she has helped write and it's her lead which should hopefully sell massively and gain her some credibility. :)
WOW, this Sunday?? Crazy excitement. I think it'll be a mid-tempo, and it probably should be as she needs to be re-introduced to the US without a ballad.

It's ahead of her second album "Echo". She says: "I titled my album 'ECHO', since an echo describes a big, organic sound."

On iTunes very early in the US. Will probably spike a bit after Divas and then fall until airplay kicks in. Bleeding Love was also put on iTunes very early and did it no harm.

The British songbird is teaming up once again with One Republic frontman Ryan Tedder for her next album.

 

Tedder, who produced and cowrote Lewis' international breakout hit, "Bleeding Love," tells me that he and Lewis recently spent a week in a recording studio together.

 

"We did about two and a half songs, and we already have something that everybody's extremely happy about," Tedder reveals.
