I would like to see him dressed a bit more casually like the chap who Paul has posted singing from Carmen thats if he were not going to wear costume which I doubt. Someone has called him looked like an old persian businessman and not a popstar anymore. I think a more casual style would appeal also to the younger element.

I just don't think of casual dress for this kind of thing, it'd feel wrong. Costume is great but not jeans, even if they weren't ripped.
I dont think of casual dress for this kind of thing either but it is not a real opera but a learning curve so perhaps later i n the show that couid come back again.
I think they'll keep it as smart because the girls' glamorous frocks are part of the spectacle and they'd look silly if the guys were casually dressed.
Dave wanted to wear jeans for our wedding but have me wear a long dress. He got frogmarched to the nearest tailor. Not easy when he's 10inches taller than me.
Lovely picture, thank you, complete with mobile phone!! I think you're right BT, the glamour is all part of the show, I don't think they'll dress down. Sue

I just look forward to seeing something a little less severe, Jimmy was in sequined flouncy look, very Italian, and Danny was in pink. Perhaps the undone bow tie should have made a comeback mmmm

Anyone remember when Darius dreamed up this Tribute to Busted almost on the spot? I still think it's funny.

A chorus of Bye bye, Busted .

We've got Mc Fly

It was on Smile and he did it together with the Smile presenter whose name eascapes me. It was a sunday morning.

Waves hi to Mme Cholet.

It's amazing what you find mucking about on the net.

The presenter was called Barney but I can't recall his other name. What was the wee blue puppet thing called? Did its name begin with M? Every time I try to think of it, I keep coming up with Tony Hart's Morph.

Could we have this busted song pinned above or will the other songs he did like the burns one be incorporated in the new site.

I don't think they'll put anything unofficial on his site . We have to try to archive our favourite bits and pieces here.

It's not good that we've lost all the vids and things. I suppose we could start a thread for photos from each year we had gigs or theatre but I wouldn't really want to put the videos on here.

Just re-read the above post. I do hope Mme Cholet didn't think I was referring to her when i said it's amazing what you find mucking about on the net. I meant the Tribute to Busted.

Lol i remember Darius singing that 'tribute' song to Busted on Smile........that was so hilarious!lmao....and so Amasing juts comming up with it just lik that too!

I can't believe it's Thursday and Darius is on the telly tomorrow.

I can't help but feel sad when I see the reaction to one prime time slot of just one and half minutes. If only...........rings in my ears.......... If Darius had had one prime time or evening slot for Live Twice.

He really does live his motto - no regrets, just experience. I'd be a bitter twisted mess if I'd had to take the tiniest part of what he has.
