The've obviously established how to make an "opera style" sound with his voice. He does it well. But there is so much more Katherine and Rolando could do with that voice.

 

Personally, I think a bass barritone vocal coach would give him more of an edge and I think that's why Stephen Bowman seems to be so desperate to work with Darius.

 

Ten years ago singing pop mainly with others, and after locking horns, Nigel Lythegoe told the viewers "He has an exceptional voice"

Stephen knows that, having sung with Darius at the Albert Hall.

I think that justifies Baytrees comments in what she has said. I do worry that he is being set up.

POP hunk Darius Campbell has revealed how someone stole his identity and tried to fleece him of thousands of pounds.

 

The former Pop Idol star, 29, got wind that something was wrong when he spotted a fake Darius on Twitter.

 

He then found out a fraudster had visited his local bank to get his details changed. Darius said: “I can only assume the next step was they were going to steal my identity and get at my bank account.”

 

He then turned detective and found the evidence pointed to someone who worked for him. That person has now been given the boot.

What? The media or identity theft?

The possibility of identity theft is one of the reasons why I am so security paranoid ,especially online.

 

I'm very careful about the safety of all my hard copy documents too and I shred things that others might not bother with.

Natasha Henstridge from "Species" fame is not going to walk down the aisle with fiance Darius Danesh after all. The actress who was last seen on "Eli Stone" has broken her engagement to the musician/actor, three years after he popped the question.

 

"Natasha and Darius are no longer engaged, but they do remain friends," a rep for the actress told Us Magazine. The rep gave no reason of the split but a source said it was all about career. "They tried to make it work. They both really care about one another but their careers took them in different directions. Darius is spending a lot of time in the UK, as Natasha is based in Los Angeles. They are sad but they will remain great friends," the source said.

 

Natasha Henstridge and Darius Danesh met in 2006 and got engaged a year later. Natasha was married to actor Damian Chapa twice but they got divorced in 1996. Then she dated actor Liam Waite, a relationship which resulted in two sons.

 

 

This is so sad. He can't stay tied to her apron strings though. If it can't work with both having a career, then it just can't be right for them. Heartbreaking though.

As a Persian and having married an English man and having mixed race children, and the way our culture is I understand the name change. let me explain, My Dad is the only surviving son with 4 children which two of them are boys. But both my brothers have daughters and so the family name ends with them. Its very important for the family name to be passed on and Darius' father would have been proud of him to have his son change his surname to preserve another one.

 

I have one son and two daughters and my sister has two sons and one of her boys could always change their name so my family name does not die.

 

 

 

I feel devastated for both of them and also the boys who've had Darius in their lives since 2004 and now he's gone.

 

Tbh, though, Darius's career, other than songwriting, wasn't working just snatching a couple of months in the UK at any time. Darius is a performer. I don't think he'd ever be happy with songwriting/ producing or screen acting.

 

I really wanted him back here but not at the expense of his personal happiness.
