Thanks Rachel! Great to see he's still around.

I agree he looks a little tired in the vid. God I hope we get something in the uk next year to see/support him at, and have a good mass meet up at too. Although you ladies have been able to manage without Darius, I'm sure you're all desperate to see me again LOL! :D

This is from the scottish sun in an article about the x factor winner Joe.

And the first time I met DARIUS DANESH, fresh from Pop Idol, he refused to tell me his surname during an interview because he wanted to be known only as Darius "like Madonna or Prince".

In fairness, Darius went on to be a top bloke with a successful West End career and an incredibly hot girlfriend in Canadian actress NATASHA HENSTRIDGE.

Not that Joe seems the type to get carried away, but he hopefully has a back-up plan which involves playing Billy Flynn in Chicago rather than Mother Goose at Dundee's Whitehall Theatre.

Of course we've missed you Paul  but especially the fantastic photos you always managed to take of Darius. As he says, lets hope 2010 is a much better year for him with lots of photo opportunities. Sue
I'll be sitting at home wishing I could go. I doubt any will be matinees so that I can go to one.

Don't be so down now he hasn't said what it is.

There's a topic on the Whatsonstage forum called 'Well, I Wasn't Expecting That, Great performances you hadn't expected to be that good' and I noticed that someone has mentioned Darius in GWTW -

I do sometimes go and see things that I know will be rubbish, because my curiosity is like that. And I don't mind admitting that Darius Danesh was absolutely wonderful in Gone with the Wind. As much as he could be with that BOOK, anyway. He has a fantastic voice, and I hope he gets something good next time he hits theatres!

Thanks Rachel. Let's hope he'll be just as good in whatever is coming next.

Don't give up yet Meg, you never know. Sue

If I can go it'll be because things have happened that I really don't want to happen. I'd rather have my mum here and have to stay but after all the waiting, it's frustrating that it looks as though something may happen at this time.

Thanks for that rachel. It is funny as have been watching that site on the link re performers to see if D got mentioned and would have posted myself but thought I would get shouted down and then I missed the new heading re performances that you thought you wouldnt like so am so glad that at least someone has realised hows good D is and I recognise the posters name so is a regular there but I dont think he posted after the show to say the same thing perhaps he was also scared of being shouted down because of the critics. It seems odd and a shame that since those good reviews that D has gained nothing else has happened.
