...Just a tidbit.....

 

I've just been talking to Wendy and she asked me if I had watched 'Come Dine with Me' on More4 last night.

Apparently the competitors were two men and two women and the winning man was a DJ. He had lots of photos in his home of him with celebrities and one lady commented......'ooh look, it's Darius, he's lovely,... I think he's wonderful!' (or something very similar) :cheer: and.... wait for it.... there was not one negative comment!!! :D :thumbup:

OMG I WISH I'D WATCHED THAT MYSELF Julie...thats Fantastic :thumbup: :dance: !I was watching it over on another channel at the same time,i wonder if it will be repeated! :thumbup:

 

Its about time we had some more positive comments about Darius! :thumbup:

At the risk of sounding repetitive, I met a D fan today. She bought Ds book from me (I have several spare copies) so I asked her if she was a fan and she said both her and her daughter were. She said she was pleased he had proved people wrong by doing well. I mentioned this forum to her and brought her up to date about him.
It's good to know that there are people out there who still support Darius. :thumbup: We just need him to do something now to unite us all and show everyone else just how talented he really is. Sue

I saw that programme advertised.

I tend to watch the repeat ones as they have several episodes one after the other but not sure how old they are.

It's very hit and miss when I see them and couldn't even tell you when or what day they are on.

If I see them on the TV guide for that day I watch it.

 

I think it is 4+ ....is there such a station?!!?

It's nice to know there are people out there who like Darius, Preston. And others on the 'Come dine wth me'

programme, Julia. It's a pity we can't give them details of D's current work. I keep hoping something will

surface.

Perhaps this will appeal Meg. has anyone seen the clip trailor for the show Doc martin on ITV 1. anyway it is accompanied by a short sung clip of lets face the music and dance which D sang on pop idol. I thought the clip sounded verymuch like him singing . Hope someone else can catch it and say what they think.I have woke early during the night so caught it three times and to me its close.

 

Has anyone else managed to catch this advert? I've tried to listen to it a few times now, it's always half way through before I realise it's on, and I know what you mean Preston, but I don't think it is Darius. Any other opinions? Sue

It didn't sound like D to me. Different quality in the voice. Still, it was lovely to have something to bring bak memories of Darius. Well done, Preston.

 

Julia, some of Mum's friends now think he's great - since the Songs of Praise show.

I'm sure he gained many more fans through GWTW and Songs of Praise, he just needs to build on it by doing something new, ANYTHING NEW, before it's too late!! :banghead: Sue

It's gone on so long now, I can't help wondering if something has gone really wrong, and we're never going to get this new album. :( Sorry for being negative. Sue
:snif: I am wondering hte same thing - this is getting stupid. So either he is working on something and is keeping quiet (I keep hoping he has been retained for phantom and so has to keep shtumm till an announcement is made)- or he is getting on with a normal life away from the limelight and there are no more songs or anything, I really am so sad about not knowing -

I too am frustrated at the lack of news :( Even if D is bound to secrecy about something, it wouldn't hurt him to get in touch with Rachel just to say hi to us and let us know he knows we still exist :(

 

I am sure there is a 3rd album in production, maybe even finished, but there's no way he could just release an album now and hope that lots of people would buy it, without an awful lot of promotional activity. It's hard enough for those of us with a huge interest in D to find out what he is doing, so without a massive promotional push, it wouldn't be worth a release.

 

Mr Danesh, with all due respect from a loyal fan who's really missing your presence, WHERE THE BLOODY HELL ARE YOU!
