Advertising seems to be working already. 10 in Future releases (2 compilations ahead so really 8) & 57 in bestsellers on Amazon. Highest he's been. Will now be on the music homepage so being more visible could lead to more orders.

The Hits’ TV ad Airs This Weekend

With ‘The Hits’ arriving in just 3 days, watch out for the album’s TV ad airing for the first time this weekend. If you don’t manage to catch it on the TV, then you can catch it here on Will’s official site tomorrow!

We’ll also be bringing you news of TV performance dates very soon! :w00t:

That's it for now but watch this space as we'll be back with more Will news very soon.

Thanks Sunday.

Means there's more than GMTV planned. Thank goodness some of us kept faith that this would happen. ;)

Thanks to Carly for typing up Will's thank yous.

Eight years of thanks to put into a few paragraphs is hard. What do you thank for? Dedication, belief, a listening ear, patience, sensitivity... the list goes on. To all these people mentioned I thank you all for these things and more.

To all at 19 now and over the years (including Simon Fuller, Charlotte Hickson and Lucy Smith - there are so many, I really can’t type them all!)... thank you to all of you for a listening ear, advice and most importantly providing such fun and laughter... long may it continue.

To all at Sony Music nee BMG now and over the years (including Ged Doherty, Chris Latham and Richie Crossley - more names!)... thank you for being open minded, patient and seeing the bigger picture.

To Sony Music Publishing who have been with me even before I started singing (more names)... thank you for sticking with me and giving me more confidence in my songwriting.

To Steve Lipson, Karen Poole, Eg White, Richard ‘Biff’ Stannard, Blair Mackichan, Heff Moraes... you guys especially have been irreplaceable and a pleasure to know and be friends with. Thank you for teaching me so much.

To Charles Law, James Gallimore and Lu Whiting – thank you.

To everyone else who’s been involved and part of my career over the years – thank you.

To all my friends and family for unfaltering support and advice.

To Paul Percival, Tim Pateman and Susan Hildebrandt – what a team. You guys are so talented it is scary, but not only that great friends and working with you feels like a holiday (except when it is late and the shoot is running over, or we are all a bit fed up, or if we have run out of cigarettes... I digress!)

To Ashley Wallen and Michael Gracey for your patience and creating performance memories that I will never forget. To all the video directors I have been lucky enough to work with: Wiz, Baillie Walsh, Tim Royce, Peter Cummings, Dougal Wilson, Martin de Thura and Kevin Godley especially.

To the two people who support me the most – Faye Anthony and my brother Rupert. To Faye, you are simply the reason I have a greatest hits, the one constant throughout the hard times and the best times – wow! Thank you. To Rupert, you are my biggest inspiration and my closest friend. I love you so much.

Finally to the fans who have listened to me over the years... thank you. You were there at the beginning and you are still here now and for that I will never be able to express enough of my gratitude, except to give my all to what I do.

Thank you

William x

Isn't that just lovely.

The bit I highlighted really jumped out at me. Will has a great working relationship with the label. He is respected for his talent & is seen as more than just a cash cow.

Thanks TT - I wondered if you had brought it over. I've just come back online and read that. I haven't reveived my album yet but I'm so pleased Carly typed that out for us.

Thanks for news of the new e-mail Sunday - that's good news about the TV performances. Hope those who were fretting are happier now.

Will have to hope he's a bit ahead by then.

Who's at #6 Sunday?

Thanks TT

How can they be out of stock within 24 hours

Thanks for all the good news peeps.

I pre-ordered the de-luxe version and they sent me an e-mail on Saturday to say it had been sent but I still haven't received it. I wonder if they ordered more of the ordinary one thinking people wouldn't want the videos

Mw report

Lewis’ album will be joined in the Top 10 by up to five other brand new albums. A new Queen compilation, the Parlophone-issued Absolute Greatest, and AATW/UMTV act N-Dubz’ Against All Odds, are the week’s fourth and fifth top sellers at this stage of the week, while other new albums vying for Top 10 places are the self-titled debut from the Columbia-handled Them Crooked Vultures, V2/Mercury’s Stereophonics with Keep Calm And Carry On and RCA act Will Young’s first retrospective, The Hits.

Loved the way it said first like there will obviously be more greatest hits albums :D

I'm so pleased to see Will in the top 10 with his Hits album, fingers crossed he manages to stay up there, but like sunday says Snow Patrol will probably pass him after CIN. He's still doing well considering all the big hyped up albums out there at the moment.

Thanks Sunday :D

MW have always given Will great support. As Will says in the programme, the Hits album is merely a flag in the sand, then onwards with more surprises & adventures. :yahoo:

I had an email at the weekend and the disc turned up this morning. It was a De Luxe copy.
