mm, would be interesting to see all the films of the glaciers etc..but I really am not interested in seeing Al Gores life story down on the farm - I do not like the bloke much, can't put my finger on it...

I have to admit PIP, that was a big part of why I lost interest in the film itself. I don't have any particular feeling either way about Al Gore, I just couldn't understand why we ended up watching about his childhood :wacko:

'Now or Never' is on. My absolute favorite. That's so good. 'Love to Love' has been added as well.

I love the recording of Now Or Never but I'd really really like to hear it without the added production - just Darius and his guitar.

mm, let us see - possibly, its helpful if he wants to stand for election again..but then I could be being suspicious of his motives. I would have thought him doing a voice over the documentary would have surficed otherwise.

I like drivng to Love to Love

at the minute I cannot get past Now or Never, it is like a new song to me because I so rarely got to hear it, and his voice on it is sending shivers down my back.

It should have been at least an album track.

my reason for liking love to love apart from its a change is that I think it would perk up the male interest in his music as men dont go overboard for ballads as can be seen here on the other forums on many occasions.

Can anyone tell me how long my space has been up and running. Only I came across another site which appears to have been up since october 2005. The artiste is unsigned but releases or will release under her own label but what I noticed was she had over 17,000 members, over 880,00 plays and 3143 plays yesterday alone. Bit worrying if you make comparisons.

I don't find it worrying in the slightest.

 

You don't know the circumstances behind that. It could be a true myspace networking success with friends of friends of friends building into a fantastic following or it could be she's a big fish in a small regional pond i.e is knocking her socks off building a regional profile by gigging relentlessly in small local venues. She could also have worked myspace as a communication network, responding to every communication from others on myspace. People like to feel part of it and get personal responses.

 

On the other hand I've seen posts on well-known industry sites about so called "friendship generators" and other questionable ways to up the figures on myspace. I can't be bothered scrolling back or doing searches to find specific posts but if you want to, I think the last mention was less than a fortnight or so ago.

Baytree Im glad you dont find it worrying. I dont know how my space works but this particular one I am referring to was picked up from ROTD. She appears to have got plays on american radio.
