I would have prefered it if he had taken off devil in You rather than Mercury Rising.

 

I'd have preferred that too but I suppose DIY helps to show that Darius is no one trick pony either as songwriter or singer.

 

Mercury Rising is a great song and one I hope Darius keeps in his intimate gigs/concert sets. I'd love to hear him sing it without well-meaning but disruptive appreciation in the form of screams, hooters and whistles from younger fans.

I also would have preferred he took off devil in you and kept mercury rising but would prefer some b sides also and an upbeat one like love to love.

let's hope he does change the songs regularily, it was nice to get the bulletin saying he had put Betterman up and would love to know our comments on it, if all his friends were getting that bulletin it's a great way to let poele hear more obscure songs

I've always loved Better Man especially for the lyrics but also for the sexy, languid vocal so I wouldn't mind if Darius is perhaps considering singing one of his new songs in a similar style.

 

He has a great voice so I hope he won't let producers artificially distort his voice like they did on Kinda Love and less obviously, on BM too.

He does have a fantastic voice....the more we can hear of it the better :yahoo:

Im still finding this confusing :blink:

I wonder if someone's working on the page today or there's a myspace glitch. The background's plain black and all the tiny still pictures are showing up as the familiar red crosses. Maybe it's just my broadband playing up.

yes, I keep popping over hoping that a song has changed, it would be nice to hear some different ones so people can hear more.

 

he has changed a couple of songs, DIY has been replaced - now Dive In and Simple like the truth are up! lovely to hear them
