He then went on to say that he'd been songwriting in Hereford and that he'd stayed with these wonderful people that he'd been writing with and they were raising chickens. He said the chickens made him laugh so much because they were very broody and would just plop down next to them and fluff up their feathers and settle down for a brood and he'd be looking at them totally nonplussed and not know what to do with them.

.when Janet Ellis was introducing Will, she said that he'd rushed down to London from Wales to be with us.

Will found this really funny and said how hysterical it was that when usually people get introduced it's like: "Here's Brad Pitt who has flown in especially from LA to be with us!" or "Thanks to Angelina Jolie who has come over from Paris!" but all we got was a very unglamorous..."Here's Will Young who has come down especially from......................HEREFORD!!"..He thought it was soooo funny and was laughing his sides out at how unglamorous it was!!

 

I wonder who he is writing with. Hoping for some Tweets :P

I bet he's gagging for something other than the stereotype roles he's been given. It seems that the Miss Marple cameo is going to be another. The part in Skins was a hoot and it will be interesting to see what his part as a reporter in Coriolanus is like.

Manchester Audition

We had our audition in Manchester today and the experience was amazing! Fearne Cotton is the host and she was lovely, really supportive and fun too Dizzee Rascal is in South Africa so he was replaced (temporarily i think) by Will Young, both him and Sharleen Spiteri were absolute sweethearts they gave us really positive feedback Jamie Cullum is HARSH! But fair i think so hey ho… agonising wait till we hear about the semi finals at least 3 weeks!) massive good luck to everyone x

 

I be he loves doing this.

 

Loving the little colour touches Will does - very stylish. I remember when he did an Oswald Boateng event years ago when he wore a black tux and black/dark top and wore bright red Puma Mostros :P

Hi Marguerite - we are all still here - just haven't got much to post about the moment. :lol:

 

Apparently he told them about being at the Universal leaving do for Lucian Grange. One of the girls on D posted a Billboard article and mentioned he was there. He said when everyone from Universal was thanked for being there he scrunched down in his seat :lol: I reckon he went along with Simon Fuller who was there.

 

When someone called out at the 606 that he should record Golden Slumbers as a single he said - maybe when I get my new record contract. So perhaps he was killing two birds with one stone being at the Universal do :cool:

I know and I feel really guilty sometimes, although the feeling doesn't last long, :lol: I'm sure I'll get back into the swing of things when all my "distractions" have ended. :D

Well i assume because no one as posted seeing the same old faces hogging tables at the 606 club that they listened to what Will wanted this time and let him perform to a fresh audience and also gave others the chance to see him for the first time there, obviously if people queued up for a standing spot that's a different matter [good luck to them ]

 

I wonder if we will get to the point were everyone who wants to see him perform there will get the chance :lol:
