Oh yes  Though I still haven't told him about my third concert in Cardiff yet

i totally loved the hour with Will, i did think he was a bit nervous and a tad ott for first 2 songs, but he soon brought it back into perspective, Lie next to me was my highlight jees was totally amazing as usual so much better than cd, but i love the cd version so i was totally blown away, loved grace that was sung differently too and better than cd, lrn (i am not in the majority for liking this unconditionally, not a track that has to be skipped every time but most of the time for me, but i loved it, loved come on, i did hope lmf would have been left out, but it was such a huge player in getting him to where he is now it did really play a part, Who am i was amazing loved it, i so wanted him to kick it up ad libbing at the end like he did at princes trust, can never better that version, its ingrained in my mind forever, amazing. Grace was at one of his best, I loved how he was on camera off camera pardon the pun with Kate, she is lovely bless her loved them pinching each others bums on the beach  some peoples questions were cut, Barrys second cousin was supposed to be seen asking her question, but it didnt happen, i see not the biggest staker but one of the side lines got to ask something as well as the live stream, i die for greedy  i just loved all of it. he was his usual self when jumping stages to perform with his fellow band mates, love it :w00t: :cheer: :w00t:

Thanks for the the vides Sunday!

Will Young admits that his place in the annual rich list makes him laugh

by Natalie Edwards, Sunday Mirror 28/08/2011

Decrease font size Increase font size ACCORDING to the latest rich list Will Young has a fortune of £12.5million.

But he laughed at that when I caught up with him this week.

“I love those rich lists,” he told me. “They total up earnings before tax and I have such a laugh with my friends about it. Long may the lie continue!”

Still, he’s just bought a townhouse in Hackney which he’s filling with antiques and art, and has a pad in Cornwall where he goes surfing with pals whenever he can. Will, who released his fantastic new album Echoes this week, also loves to splash out on cars. He said: “I’ve had an old 1961 Porsche and old Bristol, and I’ve just bought a G-Wagen.”

He’s also investing in films, as co-producer of Ralph Fiennes’ big-screen version of Shakespeare’s Coriolanus. He said: “That’s been a whole new thing for me, being behind the camera. I’m learning and I really want to do more films.”

The level of exposure being put upon this year’s X Factor contestants has been blasted by former Pop Idol winner Will Young, who said that he would not have coped with the media attention that now follows the show.

“When I did Pop Idol, ITV2 had just been launched and there were rumours of a website,” he said to The Sun. “There’ more jeopardy now – I think people know what they could get from entering the show. You probably have a fan club before you’re even signed up for the competition now.”

He also revealed that knows his sexuality wouldn’t have remained a secret for long if he had been in the show now.

“There’s far more appetite to know about contestants private lives. It was madness around Pop Idol because it was growing so quickly, but much less than it is now.”

Will Young’s new album is on course to top the charts tomorrow.

WILL YOUNG ON EDGE

ABOVE: The Pop Idol says it’s tough at the top 28th August 2011 By James Ingham

WILL Young might have had a decade to get used to the fame game but the Pop Idol says it’s tough at the top.

As new album Echoes heads to No.1 today, Will Young told me: “I find reading reviews and Twitter so hard. I haven’t checked a review for seven years.

And if I see one thing that’s homophobic or horrible on the internet it really upsets me.

“I actually forgot the album was coming out. And now I’m like f**k, f**k. I still get incredibly nervous.”

Life’s even tougher for old Willy now his dream of acting alongside Fat Pat Butcher on EastEnders has been shattered by Pam St Clement quitting the soap.

A devastated Mr Young let slip: “I have always said I wanted to play her love child. Now I won’t get my chance and it’s traumatising me.”

not sure if hes actually in the papers, is there a way to tell if he is or not do we know?

Not sure if this has been posted before, you can win Wills album here too

Win Dixie and Gayle’s Album Of The Week Want to get your hands on Dixie and Gayle’s chosen CD, as featured every Friday, in the Yorkshire Evening Post? This week... Win Will Young's new album Echoes.

Will Will Will, Young Young Young, is is is, back back back with ECHOES! OK it’s a terrible excuse for a joke, but a great excuse for an album. 10 years since winning Pop Idol, Will is not only being celebrated with an ITV special, but he is also releasing possibly his best album to date.

We did initially think that it was called Echoes, because it was recorded down a deep well. It wasn’t of course, it was recorded in a studio with a producer called Richard X who has added a lovely reverb and echoey texture to Will’s vocals. Richard X (who has tweaked and twiddled with everyone from The Sugababes to Sophie Ellis Bextor) has also ensured that every track off Echoes could be a single.

What do we like on the album? Nothing: We love it! We love the sparse and beauty of Jealously. We love Come On, for its shameless catchy repetition. We love Lie Next To Me, as it haunts you for days after first hearing it. We love Personal Thunder, because it makes the hair stand on the back of your neck and we love I Just Want a Lover, because it is pure George Michael sexiness.

What’s more, the songs have not just been thrown in a tombola and spat out, they have clearly been ordered and sewn together with great care.

So, ten years on, 8 million album sales in and as Will himself famously said to Simon Cowell; “I don’t think you could ever call that average”.

Thanks girls - all good stuff - aside from one  Not worth getting your knickers in a twist over that one - it tells you nothing about the show and everything about the person making the comments.

There are very few places to promote music these days and that person obviously doesn't wish to know that, he's letting his prejudice of all things 'reality' come to the fore.

I shan't let all the good news so far get lost in one negative. This is why Will doesn't read his reviews.

Fabulous vids Sunday  His voice was the best last night and the effects were brilliant  It was a shame they vut out the second verse of Grace but probably wanted to use the time to extend the end . Whatever the reason it was fabulous and the new songs WOW :yahoo:
