Thanks Sunday. As you say we are only getting a snapshot of a few stations.

Was reading a thread on DS & found this site interesting showing which stations are playing Will's music. We should see the plays for Hopes & Fears rising this week with it being playlisted on radio 2 & added to quite a few more playlists.

I just noticed on that H& F is down twice [once under hopes and fears and again under Hopes & fears] so there are 5 stations that are mentioned has playing it [Q radio though i can't imagine them playing him, but then they did play the LIG video are their music channel] so it says it has been played 83 times on those stations.

83 makes better reading than 54 Sunday. :D

What does this entail Sunday?

I was going to ask that too TT. Is it just his vids? I wonder if it's him introducing them. I almost missed him doing this once before because I thought it was just his vids playing out.

Many thanks to Dee Dee over on Devoted for posting this:

Dear Me... a letter to my 16 year old self

Can't see this elsewhere but please move it Mods if necessary

Will is one of the celebrities featured in a new book whose proceeds go to Elton's Aids Foundation. It's a lovely little book, we've got it in the library (£12.99) and there's lots of really interesting and sometimes v. funny (Alan Carr!) pieces. The idea is with the benefit of hindsight you write a letter to yourself at the age of 16. Some folks have submitted a photo of themselves at that age, unfortunately Will's piece hasn't but it is in his own handwriting.

'Dear William

This is you from 30 years of age! Please don't take up smoking - it is bad for your health and for your skin. Be more confident in yourself, you have more to say than you think and are wiser than you believe. Don’t be afraid about who you are and what your dreams are. What you are self conscious of is not as important as you feel it is. Talk to Jeremy and confide in him, he will help you find your path. You're better looking than you think. Believe in your singing and performing, your passion for it can outweigh by miles your lack of experience. Stop playing rugby - you'll scar your knees! Follow your instincts and watch over Rupert.

All my love

Williamx

I have found it on nAmazon for £7.13 :D

pop legend Will Young

Couldn't have put it better myself.

This must have been one of the radio stations he visited in Glasgow. That signature is worth a few spins of Hopes & Fears. ;)

Thanks Sunday - he signed a t-shirt for one of the other stations. :D

I'm wondering where the Halloween gig is at Leeds. Must be either a corporate affair or a private party.

os update

Will attends Ronnie Scotts 50th anniversary

Last night Will headed down to iconic Jazz Club, Ronnie Scotts, to join them in celebrating their 50th anniversary gala evening.

Will joined a host of celebrities, musicians and Jazz connoisseurs - including Chris Evans and Mick Hucknall - in a night of Jazz tributes and musical celebration.

The house conductor invited Will to join the band on-stage for a few numbers. So he took to the stage for an an upbeat swing version of the classic ‘Summertime’ and a rendition of Grace Jones’ ‘Strange’ with solo piano accompaniment. He had a great evening!

A great evening was had by all and Will was honoured to have been invited on-stage at such a landmark event for the world renown club.
