Ash & Will seem to be great friends as well as work colleagues. I've a feeling it's through Ash Will started doing the 606 gigs. The jazz lover who was raving about Will when I was at the Club was a friend of Ash.

Eight years after he won Pop Idol, Will Young has been voted the number one British role model in pop for young lesbian, gay and bisexual people.

 

Voters in Stonewall’s multiple-choice social media poll were asked which British music personality is the best role model for young lesbian, gay and bisexual people. The results were:

 

Will Young 58%

Alison Goldfrapp 15%

Kele Okereke 12%

Joe McElderry 10%

Lady Sovereign 5%

Stonewall Chief Executive Ben Summerskill said: ‘Young people involved with Stonewall tell us that role models help them overcome the homophobic bullying that’s rife in Britain’s schools. Pop culture is hugely influential to young people so it’s encouraging to see more openly lesbian, gay and bisexual British pop stars. Joe McElderry is already recognised as a role model so the scene is now set for him to become every bit as popular with young gay people as Will Young.’

Radio radio two are countintg down the top 100 Million selling Singles....Will is aty 13 on that list with EG/AIP..they played AIP for a change.

I know he likes to sing the oldies for those who like them..but he could give EG and LMF a rest and sing that once in while if he likes :lol: ...i enjoyed hearing it, it's been ages. :D

I agree SWF - it was good to hear it - it barely got airplay and I loved the video :wub:

 

I loved Tony's comments about PI - he's always been a big fan of Will. :D

That's not the best definition (I googled it, too -_-). I think the second part for the Wikipedia definition is better:
