As new animal species are discovered, do other need to die out to keep the wheels of evolution turning?

new speciese are being discovered not created, therefore they were already living in harmony.

 

everything has its place, and if we tip the balance then we are weakening the planets systems.

Well, when the first living being came out there was not more then 1 species. Which shows the number of species out there doesn´t need to be constant. If a new species of tiger develops in Africa, it doesn´t make any difference if a species of butterfly will disappear in India.
