Sergej's Charts from 1981
Thanks, John! 🥰 I totally agree — this era is packed with gems. Kim really holding her own is so good to see! And yes, that George track is so special, such a beautiful and emotional moment with the Beatles connection. "One Day In Your Life" definitely deserved its success too — such a timeless ballad. I’m with you on Elton as well — "Nobody Wins" had all the ingredients to be a bigger hit. As for Pure Prairie League and Jesse Winchester, they did not have as much successes but were hits in 1981, that could be considered underappreciated! Always love reading your insights. 🙌

Sergej's Personal Chart 25.04.2025
Hi Sven! Glad that you like many of the songs on here. Hi SSP! Glad that you like the new peaks for Alex Warren, Benson Boone, Rudimental and Ravyn Lenae, the debut for your former #1 from Maisie Peters and the re-entry for OneRepublic. Hi Riser! 😊 The CHVRCHES songs debuting and re-entering are actually thanks to me listening to the 10th Anniversary Edition of their Every Open Eye album during my Easter vacation to Belgium. It really made me reconnect with some of their best tracks — “Leave A Trace” and “Clearest Blue” hit even harder now! Hi Jade! Glad that you like the debut for Addison! Hey Piran! :) Thank you so much — it honestly still feels surreal to see CHVRCHES make that kind of impact again! As for other artists who've re-entered at #1, I think no-one has done this before — so CHVRCHES are the first ones to do that achievement! I’m really glad you’re enjoying 'Atlas' too — it’s such a stunning track, and I’m definitely rooting for it to climb as well. 💙 Appreciate you checking out the chart as always. Right?! Benson's climb has been so exciting to watch! 🔥 And totally with you on Doechii — she’s overdue for a huge breakout moment at the top. Fingers crossed it happens soon! Happy that you like "Leave A Trace", it is my favourite song from them! Thank you all for the comments, take care everybody!
