Pink was in Liverpool last night (16.07.07) and she was absolutly fantasic :D it was soooo good not having to que because it was all seating and i spent way too much on merch :lol: i brought 3 tshirts and 2 programs....all came to £95 :o :lol: I couldn't believe how small the place was, it held 4,500 people in it and i was 7th row back from the stage in the center block. The support band were good, dont remember what they were called because i couldnt really tell what they were saying lol. they were an irish band and a lot better than mudbone and queens of noise :lol: Pink came on a bit late again but shes worth the wait....i was soooo happy when she came on.....i was a bit like this ------> :w00t: I took loads of pictures and videos, but out of the 130+ pictures only about 10 at the most came out decent :( but luckily my boyfriend took loads of fantastic pictures :cheer: I took an elephant with me just incase i got close enough to the stage to throw it, but i didnt think i could reach the stage so my bf threw it and it landed on the stage but i'm not sure if she saw it cuz some IDIOT threw a bottle of water at Pink :o i think she was really mad about that, i could tell by her face....she said something like "if someone wants their friend to die tonight - tell them to do that again" :lol: But yeah anyway after she sang dear mr president one of the backing singers picked up the elephant and put him by the drums and i think pink saw it :D I'll post some photos later on, and i'll try upload some videos on youtube but i'm not sure if i'm allowed :unsure: :yahoo:

Then of course there were the openly political songs like Dear Mr President, a letter to George Bush, a stripped down ode to America, complete with acoustic guitar and backing singers. “What kind of father might hate his daughter if she were gay?/You’ve come a long way from whiskey and cocaine.” Denouncing US involvement in Iraq, raising the issue of homelessness, Pink proved she’s emotive, intelligent and not afraid to stand up for what she believes in.
