As we now have a rant thread can we have a Happy Thread? :dance:

 

I will start by letting you know that I was looking after an exhibition at Ventnor Botanical Gardens this afternoon and someone came in a bought a picture which I had painted! I was so chuffed. It will pay for my Brighton ticket. :D :thumbup:

Another nice thing happened yesterday. My son who resigned from his job at the end of January has been offered consultancy work with a large American IT company which could be lucrative. He resigned because the company refused to do what he suggested regarding a program and consequently it was returned by the buyer. He got fed up with it all.

You do seem to be lucky at the moment Dot. Don't want to toss some to me - it seems to be in short supply for me at the moment! Mind you I have cheered myself up a bit. Being unable to walk properly, I've spent most of the last two days on the sofa watching Will vids. :wub:
