Posted February 18, 200817 yr http://img517.imageshack.us/img517/930/logomk3.png For the third successive week (and unsurprisingly) We Are Scientists top the chart with, imo, the best song of 2008 (so far) 'After Hours'. They're followed VERY closely by everyone's new favourite band 'MGMT' and their superb new single 'Time To Pretend'. That re-shuffle allows Foals to FINALLY claim a deserved top 3 place with 'Cassius' while local lads the Futureheads slip to a still reasonably good 4th. A brand new entry at no.5 sees the return of the Kooks with the infectious 'Always Where I Need To Be'. Although it's hardly a massive stride forward from their last releases, it is a refreshingly catchy number from them and is definately one for the future. The bottom 5 sees Young Knives, Cribs and The Coral slip and Hard-Fi and The Enemy retain their positions from last week. February 18, 200817 yr 9/10. not really into the Coral's new single otherwise the rest of the chart looks great, Great #1 and MGMT is beginning to grow on me, they are a bit like The Flaming Lips, their video is very strange.
