Posted May 1, 200817 yr Bon Jovi tour may hit Central Park Keep it quiet, but Jon Bon Jovi says his band is planning to rock Central Park this summer. At which time, odds are good the band will not keep it quiet at all. Jersey-born Bon Jovi - whose band has been blasting out rock hits like "Livin' On A Prayer" and "It's My Life" for 25 years - told the Web site SI.com, "We're going to do Central Park this year. That hasn't been announced yet." Bon Jovi reps refused to comment or offer any specifics. A city Parks Department spokesman also was coy, saying, "No concert plans have been announced at this time, so we have nothing to report." Jon Bon Jovi was interviewed by SI.com primarily about his ownership of the Arena League football team the Philadelphia Soul. He revealed the park concert plan when he was asked if he planned to end the band's current tour at Giants Stadium, as he has on past tours. He said no, even though the stadium is slated for demolition in 2010, because the band would play Central Park instead. http://www.topix.com/who/bon-jovi/2008/04/...jovi-doing-park
