No flashy pictures, no almighty year-end countdowns, just a no-frills listing of my current favourite ten songs. The Killers earn their 2nd Christmas no.1, with Spaceman JUST about making it thanks to it finally being given a release date. This change at the top means Snow Patrol have to settle for 2nd place with 'Crack The Shutters' and they can quite rightly feel robbed. Van She switch places with Keane, and Bloc Party climb into the top 5 with 'Two Monts Off'. Brand new entry at no.6 from White Lies, who follow-up the brilliant top 3 smash 'Death' with 'To Lose My Life', and the rest of the top 10 all fall one or more places but nonetheless are all good songs in their own special ways. I'm unhappy at the lack of activity in the chart but I'm sure that it'll increase as interest and news grows later in 2009. I wouldn't merge it for the moment.
