Thanks for the you tube links, lovely to see it again. I cant wait to hear the songs properly on the cd, did not think we would get to hear them again. Its a lovely surprise they release the cd, and in a good cause too. :cheer:
  3. Hi Meghan, I loved it, did not know what to expect but it really was brilliant. Gareth was fantastic, his speech was fine, and his acting was good, even his dancing, lol And he sang 4 songs and his voice was as usual fantastic. He got huge cheers when he come on stage each time and when he left. The cast were really good too, and it was so funny in places, we were in stitches.
  4. You are so right, Gareth is very determined and works hard in everything he does. I have to let you know on Sat, how it was. I am really pleased he is going for musical theatre now, he does what he loves, performing and singing. Cant be bad.
  5. The day after tomorrow, :yahoo: Wonder what it will be like? :D
  6. Thanks Sue. :D Just wanted to say sorry to all Darius fans for suddenly getting the post about Gareth which had been moved from the pop section. You must have wondred what was going on. Not sure if the mod who done it got confused with Gareth and Darius.
  7. I think we got the cd because its for the same charity, as the gala evening was. Its in aid of Nurturing new musical theatre writing and musical developments.
  8. I am going on opening night and cant wait. :yahoo: Also really pleased I can get the recording of the Cinders night, have asked for it for x-mas. :cheer:

I was there on the night and loved the show, and I am pleased I can get all the songs on CD now. Thanks for telling us. Will put this on my x-mas list.
  10. Thanks, its great to hear its a fun show, really cant wait now. Better not book in April though, Gareth might take a couple of days off when the baby comes. :yahoo:
  11. I am really pleased too, I never seen it, but will really try to go when Gareth is performing. I have been told, its a great show.
  12. Cinderella (Wimbledon theatre) start on the 5 Dec (when I go :cheer: ) and ends on 18 Jan. Lots of performances, afternoons and evenings, I think Gareth only has x-mas day off. He said where he normally goes home to Bradford, this time his parents will come to his and Susanne house. :D There is suppose to be an announcement tomorrow on who is taking over from Lee Mead as Joseph.
  13. Here is the link, a very good and open interview IMO. http://garethpaulgates.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=7361 You have to scoll down a few posts.
  14. There is a brilliant interview in the Stage from Gareth, and at the end they show other success stories and Darius is mentioned. I thought you might like to read it. http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b105/dorral/seven.jpg
  15. We had heard rumours about it, but no official confirmation yet. Gareth is also busy in Cinderella until 18 Jan, but he did say in a video message that something is on the horizon and he is very excited about it. Would be great if true, and I would definitely go and see him. :D
  16. I have been watching it (still am) and have to tell you I think Darius was great, fantastic voice and looking good. :cheer: Saw his mum blow him a kiss. :D

Yes that is true, the e-mail itself is the hoax, you can read on this link about it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Life_is_beautiful_virus_hoax
  18. I got my tickets now too, booked for the first performance, 5 Dec. Really cant imagen at all how it will be, never been to a panto in my life, lol :D
  19. I think its brilliant for Gareth, lots must have auditioned for this part. And for the company to give it to him, they must have confidence that he can do the acting and speaking (singing is of course no problem for him). I actually have not booked either yet, but having seen that there is parking right near for only £2, I will book over the weekend too. :yahoo:
  20. Gareth got the part of Prince Charming in Cinderella at the Wimbledon theatre, 75 performances from 5 Dec until 10 Jan. :cheer: That will be great experience for him, and he will love it. He loves working with other people. It was great for him being on Dancing on Ice, he said the camaraderie was brilliant.

Can you please put a new thread with a reminder for the show, nearer the time, I really would love to see this.
  23. Its not exactly Gareth's show, lol but he is taking part and its on the 6 July. We have to wait and see what happens afterwards. There are bound to be some people from theatre present, and on Gareth's website it says he will be busy this year. So here's hoping.
  24. Hi everyone, we heard some news of Gareth. He will be in a charity Stiles & Drewe Concert showcasing songs from their new musical 'Soho Cinders'. :cheer: Who knows he might even be in the actual music too. http://garethpaulgates.net/forum/uploads/monthly_06_2008/post-6-1213193824.jpg
  25. It was a shame, he went out on his favourate song. He did the solo skating at the start real well, but Zhaara was good on Sunday. And in the skate off Gareth did have a little stumble, but to honest, if he had gone through, he might have upset the apple cart so to speak, and that might have gone against him. We know what people are like, saying he would not have deserved it,others are better skaters and such. Gareth is fine about it, he was on This Morning looking happy, wishing all the finalists well, saying they are great skaters. He will be there on Sunday like all the other contestants too. And he is looking forward to the tour, and will return to music afterwards again in some form or other, lol Wish I knew what he meant by this.
