  1. Fatmuffin, its nice you being concerned for Gareth, but I am sure his management know what they are doing. They believe in Gareth as a long term artist, they recognise his talent, and will give him time. We just have to wait and see what happens, and I am really pleased if he ends up top 20 after 3 1/2 yrs away. What happens after, we will have to wait and see. :D

Thanks Preston for turning the cds the right way round. :D The McDonald brothers are ding really well, with no promotion, but I suppose there was the tour and they went down a storm on it. Good luck to them, I liked them on X-factor, thought Simon was horrible to them, anf they sang better then some others.

That sounds great, I am pleased for you to be able to see Darius again. He is not coming anywhere near me or I would go and see the musical too.

How sad are some people? As if Gareth has not enough stacked against him with no air play and video play to speak of? I love Lovesong too, so glad you like it, and I love the guitar playing on it (so pleased to find its Gareth himself), it was the first I noticed. I do hope he will not do too badly in the charts. :
  7. I am happy he is back, and hope he wont chart too badly. And hopefully with his second single being more radio friendly, he hopefully will do better.

Brilliant news, I cant wait. :cheer:
  9. I love changes and I love Angel on my shoulder, and on the Music control site they have 2 videos of Gareth performing those songs for them. I just love it, mind Gareth does look funny in his hat, lol Must have had cold ears, :yahoo: http://www.musiccontrolradio.co.uk/
  10. I think Changes is a great song, I love it, and got a real good review from Music week calling it classy, and quality from start to finish, but its not instantly catchy and therefore not what they call radio friendly? Don't know too much about that to be honest. And Angel on my shoulder is more catchy and I think a brilliant track that hopefully will be a single one day. I am pleased to hear that people are pre-ordering the album already. I am just hoping Changes will not do too badly. :(
  11. I also think Angel on my shoulder is a great track, but it says on radio 2 site that they only ever play album tracks for 2 weeks max. Changes really is not getting any air play to speak of. :(

I love changes, but its a grower, and I agree with Angel on my shoulder being more catchy instandly. Love that one.

    Thanks Preston. :D
  14. Thanks for that. If people are a bit more open minded and give him a fair listen, then I am happy.
  15. I saw it too Feel the fever and tought Gareth was fantastic, gave a good and funny interview, and well done Gareth on your speech. :cheer:
  16. I love changes, but heard Angel on my shoulder played on radio 2 this afternoon, and its a lot more catchy, I absolutely love it. You can listen again on the Radio 2 site too. It was on Steve Wright show, just before 3pm.
  17. I have just heard Changes sang acoustic on a radio station and have to say even though I love the CD version, this acoustic one was just beautiful. Sounded absolutely great.
  18. Its a grower, give it a few more listen. The performance on Popwolrd was fantacstic, just loved it.. :cheer:
  19. Brilliant news Val, he went down well at Gay last time he performed there. I cant wait to hear Angel on my shoulder in full.

There are always certain radio stations who dont play some people, and we do know that.

Thanks Megham for saying that you now like it, and I understand you not liking it before, it definitely needs more then 1 listen. Not sure if Gareth will get air play enough to make people change their minds though. To be honest, I think he will have it hard, but I do hope regardless of where this will chart, that he carries on, he said himself he is realistic. With his next release (probably an upbeat one) he might get played on the radios more. I also have the feeling that we might only get the album after release no 2. because I am sure we would have been told already if the release for the album would be soon after this song.
  22. I am pleased you like the song, and to be honest I think most Gareth's fans and Gareth himself would be happy with a top 10 for this song. :D Quite a few people said that there are lots of good songs on the album, and I have a feeling Gareth next single will be more commercial and probably upbeat. But changes means a lot to Gareth, I love the song, the more I hear it the more I love it.

Eggie, we think that the start is the morning after so to speak, also Gareth singing the song. We also think he is invited to a party, his ex is there with her new boyfriend and oviously still likes him very much, the bf gets jelous, lol has a go at the girl, Gareth steps in and they have a fight, (by the look of the room at the beginning ), and everyone is sad. lol Here are the lyrics: I can’t run if you can’t hide And I’m allowed to change my mind, but if I find a way to erase … turn the page on what we’ve left behind, cos I can’t breathe when you’re out of my sight. I, I don’t believe in shame, but it’s alright to feel the pain, Everybody feels some pain And I know … I’ve seen it in your eyes Every time I see you cry I realise I’ve seen your tears too many times We’re going through changes I know I’m wrong, I realise It’s not my place to try and justify That is why I’m not that knife in your side ‘Cos I’m shedding the skin that I’m in It’s not my fate to live a life without you in. I, I don’t believe in shame, but it’s alright to feel the pain, Everybody feels some pain And I know … I’ve seen it in your eyes Every time I see you cry I realise I’ve seen your tears too many times We’re going through changes We’re going through changes
