As a 'metal head' i never understood how Priest got so popular, compared to other british metal bands like Sabbath and Maiden they are very dull. I personally only like a few songs.
  2. vJ3emd3phLY Sums it all up i think :D
  3. They're still retro (as by your deffinition of anything before 00's).
  4. And Machine Head has 2 ex Vio-lence members in it.
  5. Anthrax, Machine Head and Rage Against The Machine are retro.

The Beguiled is a great film, one of my favourites of his.... didn't find it too creepy though, the creepiest thing i thought was his character getting it on with a 12 year old in the first 5 mins. WOAH! Don't forget The Enforcer (the 3rd film), thats just as good as the first 2 imo. The 2 after that though are awful though, total change of pace and the character of Harry Callahan doesn't go with the age (Dead Pool is the worst film i've seen him in). They should of left it as a trillogy.

Faith No More confirmed as the 3rd headliner
  8. If they do Download i WILL be going... especially since its just down the road.
  9. CI was patchy, tbh i f***ing love God Hates Us All, imo its the best thing they've done since Seasons In The Abyss even with Divine Intervention having 2 of my fave Slayer songs (Dittohead and Circle of Beliefs) on it. I've listened to some songs on Wrath and tbh its not summat i'll buy but then again i've never really been keen on Lamb Of God. With that track i posted up a few weeks ago (pychopathy red) if they can keep the tracks at that level or better then i think the new Slayer album will $h!t on most things that have been released in the past year.
  10. Blashpemy!
  11. Errr i don't think so, Sabbath almost single handedly created heavy metal. Without Sabbath i doubt very much you would of had Maiden. Sabbath laid down the foundations for every other metal band to build upon.
  12. Spit It Out, Wait and Bleed anf My Plague are the best Slipknot songs imo.... As for the list i can't really argue with it except for making Sabbath number 1.

More acts announced (second batch not as good as the first in my opinion.), Def Leppard, Whitesnake, Limb Bizkit and Trivium.
  17. No they didn't, i liked them when i was 11/12 but after that my music taste matured and i discovered truely great rock and metal bands. Like Josh i didn't even know they had split up, and do you know why? Because i don't care!!!
  18. They are a great band... ....for the under 13s

  21. Not to mention that the back of his head flew off (like an exit wound) in the direction of Oswald, when an exit wound from Oswald would of been the front of his head.
  22. Thats just his style though, like Burton's style was to just head bang and have his hair go all over the show. Here's a good example of Rob performing outside of Metallica, moving across stage 'proper weridly'. Ozzy Osbourne - Perry Mason Sg3xyMN4vn4 and yeah this vid does contain tits for half a second.
  23. For any fans of old school 80's thrash metal, here's the band that nearly made the big 4 ('tallica, Slayer, Anthrax and Megadeth) the big 5. Testament are an amazing band and their early records are on a par with Master Of Puppets and Reign In Blood. A highly overlooked band here's some songs from their early years. 24. At 2mins 31 secs it could of fit in nicely on the Reign In Blood album.
