welldone, great answer. please refrain from text talk as well.
  4. the one with the wheels. The guy being draqgged under the floor boards by a demon in Evil Dead 2 was pretty amazing for me as a kid, lol.

    Why was this bumped AGAIN?
  6. well Running Free was their first single (1980) and got to number 28 (i think) in the charts. Aces High was from their 5th album and 5 years after Running Free and only got to 25 (again i think, i'm doing this from memory). And Wasted Years a year after Aces High got to around 18. By that time they were well established and only had one top 10 hit (Run to the Hills got to number 7). It wasn't till their 7th album (7th Son of a 7th Son) that they really started to do well in the charts with all of the singles from that album comming top ten. The next album saw a number 1 with Bring Your Daughter To The Slaughter the album after that (Fear Of The Dark) had one hit (Be Quick Or Be Dead) which got to number 2 and then they went c**p as Bruce left for 7 years to be replaced by Blaze Bayley <_<
  7. Since when were you a Maiden fan? Purgatory is their best single by far and that reached number 52 (i think). Wasted Years their second best single. And either Aces High or Hallowed Be Thy Name (live from Donnington 1992) being their third best.
  8. i'll certainly be signing up to this! who wouldn't?
  9. As a singer he's $h!t. for the band and genre he's perfect. Couldn't make out what he was singing when i saw them live though. what wrong with Slayer? Their nearly the same as Metallica, Anthrax and Megadeth. Try Exodus, i'm not much of a fan but it's the same genre as the bands above.

I would but not being on broadband means it'll take ages too load sorry :(
  11. It was alright, until they started singing and then it was just bland.
  12. I thought it would be for most people. It's very melodic. One of my favourites.

you just quoted yourself there for no real reason
  14. umm he got better, didn't you read the second post? :P but there's always the chance it could come back :( i hope it doesn't.
  15. Ok, well i found out he was cured of cancer. so that's good news. Has anyone actually took the time to listen to these songs or am i speaking to myself here?
  16. I found out that one of my favourite bad's singers has cancer :( Chuck Billy was the singer for classic unsung heros of thrash metal Testament. He sung for them during their classic period of their early albums. For me Testament are one of the best thrash metal bands of all time and in some ways i consider them better then Metallica. Their metal ballads are amazing, they are not affraid to slow things down and add accostic influences. Also they can be fast, really fast, some songs they make Slayer seem slow. Here's some of their best songs. Well satanism doesn't have to be making sacrifices to the devil, in away not having a religion is satanism as your denying God exsists. Thats how i think they're using it. it maybe 616 but that doesn't sound right in songs ;) Well it hasn't been proven actually, it is just a theory. Using physics we know most of what happened after the first 0.4 seconds of the universe, within those first 0.4 seconds we don't know what happened but the big bang theory is probably the best theory for the creation of the universe. Christians believe that god made the earth for many reasons. One that ties into the big bang theory is that, that all happened but it was the force of god that made it happen and thaqt he's the force behind the scenes that is makking it all happen. Another one is that the 7 days as said in Genesis aren't actually 7 periods of 24 hours but alot longer. And then you have the crack pot idiots who believe the bible is 100% correct word for word.

well as i don't have a religion it doesn't bother me, also 666 doesn't mean kill virgins in honour of satan but to live in a life that isn't restricted by dedicating it to God. Also it is just a song (a good one at that) :P

Slayer put it best.... Opression is the holy law In God I distrust In time His monuments will fall Like ashes to dust Is war and greed the master plan? The bible's where it all began Its propaganda sells despair And spreads the virus everywhere Religion is hate Religion is fear Religion is war Religion is rape Religion's obscene Religion's a whore The pestilence is Jesus Christ There never was a sacrifice No man upon the crucifix Beware the cult of purity Infectious imbecility I've made my choice. Six Six Six Corruption breeds the pedophile Don't pray for the priest Confession finds the lonely child God preys on the weak You think your soul still can be saved I think you're ****ing miles away Scream out loud here's where you begin Forgive me father for i have sinned Religion is hate Religion is fear Religion is war Religion is rape Religion's obscene Religion's a whore The target's ****ing Jesus Christ I would've lead the sacrifice And nailed him to the crucifix Beware the cult of purity Infectious imbecility I've made my choice. Six Six Six Jesus is pain Jesus is gore Jesus is the blood That's spilled in war He's everything He's all things dead He's pulling on the trigger Pointed at your head Through fear you're sold into the fraud Revelation revolution I see through your Christ illusion The war on terror just drags along My war with God is growning strong His propaganda sells despair And spread the violence everywhere Religion is hate Religion is fear Religion is war Religion is rape Religion's obscene Religion's a whore There is no ****in' Jesus Christ There never was a sacrifice No man upon the crucifix Beware the cult of purity Infectious imbecility I've made my choice. Six Six Six
  20. i don't mind it, but thats probably cos Maiden are my all time favourite band. But then again the only worse singles they've had have been with Blaze  BYDTTS is Bruce's contribution i believe :) lol. Yes i love the hard riff of "Benjamin Breeg", i haven't heard much of the new album yet. Can't wait to see them live again ^_^

it's my favourite as well :D
  22. i hate modern horror films. what you just said doesn't apply to me as my favourite film of all time is the original 1979 version of Dawn of the Dead which is still low budget but ****ing amazing.
  23. They've done worse with far better songs.
  24. It wasn't in because it was too long to be accepted for the charts.
  25. I stayed up and watched it.... ....it was $h!t as a film :cheer: pure brilliance for gore though ^_^
