I quite like Lana but only watched the Born to Die video yesterday for the first time, hadn't heard the song before. It never came across to me as a #1 song. Its a nice song. I'll be interested to hear her album

What has happened to Pixie? her first album singles sounded quite soul like at times but this era's singles have been generic and dreadful.

Actually HMV do not use the channel islands loophole. And that loophole has now been closed so you'll se a 20% increase in all online sales of CD's, DVD's and other stuff. Not sure when it kicks in though

Having started my period of re-listening to all the albums i bought in 2011 i do actually prefer Born this Way to 21. I used to feel differently but this is how i feel now. I suppose it depends on my mood, if i was feeling a little down i suspect 21 would be my fav. I just like how anthemic Born This Way is and how Gaga tried to be more experimental whilst staying mainstream.

139,000 and #2 LOL How often does that happen. Steps had rotten luck a lot of the time with their singles not getting to #1

How good would it be if Steps got a slot on X factor or strictly even. I hope they do a Children in need slot though. Could be great coverage to keep the album selling over the coming few months
