  1. Really not a fan of her anymore (For obvious reasons)

BUT it's really nice to see her embracing her true self (Maybe it's finding genuine love and finding herself away from social media)

I guess what's happened has happened but why didn't she take her time off properly, work on just being Jesy and then make a comeback (It seemed like she wanted to steal the other girls limelight and be the first to debut)

I'd love her to cotinue down this path and maybe she can gain some of the fans back (This is the Jesy I wanted to see regardless if I liked the music or not)

She wanted to leave the band to make her own music and own decisions. That's not got anything to do with stealing limelight or being the first to go solo in my opinion.

Anyway she looks the best she has in so long but I do wish she would take some accountability.

  2. If only it was that easy! I mean of course they do but until you're a parent and/or work with children on a daily basis I think that's easier said than done. I am able to compromise with the kids but some parents simply can't, many of whom are very young themselves and give in. As a teacher I spend huge amounts of time dealing with supporting parents with factors such as these.

Calm the tone down with that first line? We're having a discussion you don't need to be so abrupt and call my views stupid...

And that's really really good for you that you had that upbringing and subsequently sold and made money from it all but that's not the case for everyone.

I work with children with ASD and am fairly sure I am on the spectrum too and the need to own things and collect and complete sets for some of the children and myself is a humongous burden and one that I wish I could tame and control but my brain doesn't allow me to and nor does it do so for some people I work with.

So actually no. I can't "easily just stop" but I am so happy you are able to! If my brain was wired the same way as yours maybe I could too but alas it's not, so ~ don't tell me it is easy when for me and my brain, it is impossibly difficult.

I'm only addressing the point related to me here and not the second part but I don't understand your point really - Taylor needs to stop releasing multiple variants etc because of parents who can't say no to their kids? Is there really any evidence to suggest that parents are buying every variant or merch for their nightmare kids or is it purely anecdotal?

  3. But for many people with ASD, they are forced to buy for completions sake and the reasoning you have shown to not buy it is out of their cognitive realms. Also for many parents they are forced to buy because her young fans need every variant. No one is forcing you to buy then but for many others it's not as simple as that!

    Parents need to...parent then?

  4. This is one of the stans then, eh? I’m sorry I feel like this is her worst work yet. I have enjoyed some of her albums previously as well so I’m not a hater but this is just Taylor in autopilot… and where is the great songwriting they speak of?

The Charlie Puth line, “tattoo golden retriever”, the whole chorus of But Daddy I Love Him, “I so depressed I act like it’s my birthday everyday”. I’m sorry it’s all so juvenile to me.

Hard pass but get your numbers gal x

    What’s wrong with BDILH chorus, it’s a fantastic song…

She’s no stranger to a weird lyric a la sexy baby, karma is a cat

  5. Scrap the artist forums and combine all genre forums into one. It would breathe some much needed life into this place and generate a lot more music discussion.

I actually said as much on the survey too, I know I don’t post loads but I definitely think the way everything is spread out makes it seem more dead than it is. Everything in the same place would probably drive people to threads they normally wouldn’t go to, also.
