She could literally have released the last ten songs as a brand new album and it would’ve been considered a fantastic album. I’ve never heard the originals of Better Man and Babe so to me they are fantastic too.

Run is stunning too as is Very First Night.

How they made Starlight go from bottom three to top three in the album oh my days.

No I’m not underestimating it, there are things that could’ve been done to elevate the music video whilst pregnant, in terms of cinematography, utilising the dancers etc. We obviously disagree on the matter and it’s fine. I also don’t agree that a pop act with a record of hit singles releases a single not caring if it smashes or not.

I’m talking about the video for No itself, not the entire era. I think the video looks half baked and mismatched to the song. Pregnant or not, they can still still maintain a level of quality which they haven’t in this case in my opinion.

I’m honestly not big on this song, it’s like something The Saturdays would put out which is fine… for them, but LM have set a high bar for themselves. The video is fine but I feel like in all honesty they should’ve released Between Us with a sentimental video and then saved this material for when they could really sell it because it comes across as half baked.

Kitty is honestly one of the most undeserving front runners ever, I have to say. Nothing that comes out her mouth is remotely original and her shtick during the lip sync was no exception.

I find the latter quite difficult to listen to actually, her voice on it is just not great to these ears whilst Bite Me is fab.

Her best for me since Under My Skin, I can’t even lie.

I love Postcard, everything from them this time around has been so so good. I lost interest in them towards the end of their first run but this is their best era music wise since the debut I think.

The issue is that you are literally guilty of the same thing that you’re accusing her ‘lovers’ of doing (the lovers are just people who have a diff opinion to you, why do you expect them to respect your opinion ‘because it’s different to yours’ if you don’t do the same to others? Anyway, rewatching the performance and I just think the whole thing was fine.. The song is still not any good but I did enjoy it for what it was I guess. I think Twitter etc are looking at anything she does or says with a microscope, so I feel like anything she said in the interview would’ve been misconstrued.

I do think it’s plausible that she was both though. Maybe now that she is out of it she is able to look back and appreciate the highs for what it was although she was uncountable miserable for alot of it too. I honestly want her to finish trying to promote this song and take some time out. I will always have time for Jesy but this attempt at a solo career at this time is just not going to help her public image - she needs to start some serious damage control.

My bad, I misread your original post, sorry! I do think you’re loving this though, it’s another excuse to get up in arms yet. Her swearing on TV isn’t a big deal yet you turn it into a drama.

I don’t need to go onto socials to validate my opinion, sorry. I was referring to the fact you were saying no one swears on the BBC or the show. I have no issue with people that hate her or hate the performance but don’t make things up to suit.

what are you talking about, do you even actually watch the programme?? people swear on it all the time so put your wooden spoon away for a minute. I thought she killed the choreo and came across well in the interview too. She practically said that word for word, yet just said there is no bad blood from her side either. I do think people are taking any thing she says and twisting it to suit their own narrative.

I always loved them from X Factor, back in the day I would always stan the girl bands who never done well (RIP Kandy Rain & Bad Lashes) and grew to love them more as the season progressed. In all honesty though, when they first released music I didn’t rate it at all and still to this day I don’t love the DNA/Salute albums. I always looked out for their music but I really paid attention when Black Magic was released I guess

I’ve absolutely been against the unnecessary hate towards Jesy during the campaign but I also think it’s important that people are able to air their viewes surrounding the whole situation, and I don’t think there are really any comments being hateful at the moment.

I saw her live in 2017 and she was great but I don’t think I would want to see her sing her current material. I know it’s a minority opinion as everyone seems to really love it but I think the last two albums/EP have been so mundane.

She literally looks as unreal as she did in 1999! I can’t wait for this.
