I'm not sure what adapting that type of outlook on the situation really achieves but I don't think Jesy is a person who does not deserve empathy. like so many have said she absolutely has to be held accountable, and whilst you can't cut her slack because of her mental health issues you can (and quite frankly should) be aware and mindful of them. I suppose we're all unique in how we perceive situations but I just think it's worth remembering that literally nobody is excusing her actions.

Nobody is absolving Jesy of blame, why do people not actually read the posts? Every single person who has shown an ounce of empathy for the situation have also vehemently stated that Jesy is in the wrong. Someone can be in the wrong but can also be vulnerable and so we can also worry about them and how their actions will affect their future.

But Jesy also has multiple people of colour surrounding her telling her that she is doing nothing wrong. There are plenty of POC who see no issue in what she is doing. I don’t want to start that type of conversation really as it’s not upto me to tell people particularly black people how to feel about it but I’m just pointing it out.

I feel this was the case right up until the live last night. I can see why people are angry at her and the whole situation to be honest even if I don’t agree with it.

This is not true. He unfollowed everyone after he went live.

He feels like Jesy is being unfairly targeted and felt like Leigh was inappropriate by asking him to ‘incite hate’ on her. not my words or opinions it’s just what he said in his stories afterwards.

I feel like if she had did that then we’d be calling her out for being disingenuous. I wish she had spoken a bit more at the time but it’s easy for us to say how we would react, when it’s likely Jesy didn’t think she was going to pop off so specifically as she did.

It’s baffling how it’s come to this really. I’m sure there is right and wrong on both parts at some point but it is just disappointing that a group based on friendship has come to this, regardless of what it’s about. I hope the single charts and Jesy can take some time away to reflect and educating.

I completely agree with that and as far as I know I don’t think anyone else is disputing this. She tried to explain the video in the live I’m not sure if you watched that bit and although I hear what she’s saying it should never have been made at all.

This is exactly how I feel in all honesty. There is no denying Jesy’s blackfishing nor defending it in my opinion, but I am not okay with jumping on a band wagon that comes for someone for every little thing they do.

She literally did though? Jesy sat in silence for the majority of it and only laughed when Nicki started doing accents.
