It’s honestly not even in my top five anymore, I think I kinda grew bored of it a few days after the album was released.

Did Perrie, Jade and Leigh Anne ever really get more media attention than Jesy did? She’s had a hard time with trolls etc but there has also been a load of love and adoration for Jesy that the other girls didn’t always get either

I wouldn’t be sure on that as the announcement does seem to suggest that the girls are committed to the group, with Jesy even wishing them luck with new music etc.

My heart is broken. Jesy was always my favourite member purely because I loved her personality and her voice but I understand that she has to do what she has to do.

I’m going to stay up for this and I really hope it lives up to expectations!

I think Peter was definitely the right winner, he’s been consistently the best all the way through in my opinion.

^^^ a bit of a disappointing comment to make really though considering he has taken time off due to mental health issues.

It always really bugs me when people complain about overmarking (DigitalSpy are terrible for this) because like the judges are there, are able to see the footwork and etc - in Claras case the marks seemed to be quite generous in relation to their critiques but they obviously could recognise her effort whilst I personally found the dance awful to watch. I think Maisie must be so deflated now; her dance was great!

People are going to analyse the fact that they don’t mention her at all even more though surely? I actually think that the whole silence around the topic is making it the elephant in the room and more of a talking point, the way they’re handling it is strange. Of course Jesy deserves privacy etc but she can still have that whilst acknowledging that she isn’t there at the moment particularly in an interview setting when all they have to say is that she’s taking time off as per their original statement - no questions asked etc. I think given that Jesy of all the girls has been an open book and has opened up about her struggles etc just seems jarring with the silence that is present - again I’m not suggesting we get the ins and outs or even a reason as to what is going on, but am not acknowledging it is definitely partly why the rumour mill is in overdrive. (I’ll say again, I’m not expecting Jesy’s reasons to be made public and appreciate and respect her entitlement to privacy, I’m referring to reiterating what they’ve already told us to a wider audience)

But it would take publicity away from the release if they announced her departure at this point, not to mention the spotlight from their TV show winners, so from their point of view I definitely do see why they wouldn’t announce Jesy’s departure at this time if she had decided to leave. Again though, we don’t even know that Jesy’s absence is MH related and everything is an assumption - she’s had struggles before sure but it’s not to say that something else has happened!

In all fairness though the article isn’t discussing them splitting up, it’s just stating that they are looking at pursuing solo projects individually - it actually makes a point of saying it isn’t about them splitting. The article is probably bullshit, but it’s not really dragging anyone or anything..

Nobody is saying that it’s ‘fake’ though- it’s entirely possible that Jesy’s health isn’t in the best place and she has just said that she has quit and the girls have told her to take some time off and think about I.e the extended break. Has it been confirmed that this is Jesy’s mental health? I just keep seeing them confirming medical reasons but not actually her mental health but I may have missed it. It’s not hard to accept what you’ve said above, but the circumstances have been odd regardless of whether we don’t deserve any further info etc so people are going to speculat.e.

I do wonder if she has said she has wanted to leave and they’ve advised her to just take time to get better - I do think it will be a more extended period of time than people are anticipating. I love Jesy, and wish her all the best whether this is mental health related or not!

I love Petrie and don’t think she should be labelled as the screamer but I do think that her voice is the ‘coldest’ of the girls - it isn’t necessarily always pleasant to listen to IMO. Also, I also don’t think there is anything wrong with ranking your preferences of the girls - if you’re not being mean and slaying them then I think everyone is going to have their faves

The judge did appoint a co conservator at the request of Britney and advised they’d be willing to hear this again so there are obviously reasons as to why this wasn’t removed.

I love Jesy and she is my favourite of the girls but it definitely does show that her heart doesn't seem to be in it recently. I hope she is okay and getting all the support she needs!

I think YChange are usually good but that performance was not the one for me.

I miss Jesys part tbh but this performance is stunning
