I agree I liked Eleanor because I disliked Karen - I hated how they did the whole protest for Karen as if she was some great head when she really wasn’t!

The whole arc with Earl was great, he was a great character! I’m enjoying S7 a little more now that they are focussing on the school, I enjoy the staffing issues etc and the newcomers Daniel, Sian, Linda etc are actually quite good!

I can’t stand him - one thing I’ve noticed in the latest season is that they introduce ‘bad boys’ who are bad for an episode or two, and then end up being nice until the plot requires it!

I’m half way through season 7, just after the new headmaster etc and think I may just go back and watch 1-5 instead. I think Scout seems like just a bad replacement for Sam.

I’ve just watched the Blackpool episode and I think it’s one of the best hours of TV I’ve watched. Up until now I’ve not been keen on Lauren but the actress who played her was really sensational!

I was going to mention the Jonah and Cesca story, I’m watching it just now and can’t believe how they’re portraying it although it doesn’t help that Jonah looks about 35 I’m dreading the move to Scotland to be honest! I just rewatched the episode where Lindsay James attacks Karla - honesty broke my heart!

You know, I think through Rachels tenure there was such a focus on the school and how to make it better and you could tel she lived for it, whereas with Karen the job is clearly just that to her and the focus is on her family life. I’m so glad that Janeece came back, and Ruby has been a saving grace this series too!

I’m just at the end of Season 6 at the moment but really struggling to keep going / Kyle, Ronan, Vicky are no good substitutes and Karen Fisher has been atrocious. I miss Rachel - its weird because i wasn’t too fussed when Chlo/Dante etc left but Karla,Michaela etc leaving has disappointed me. At least Janeece is still there!

I’ve been watching Waterloo Road for the first time and I’m obsessed although I’m really sad as all the great characters seemed to leave at the end of Season 5 and theres such a noticeable dip in quality from 6. My favourite students were Danielle, Karla and Aleesha, they were so underrated. In terms of teachers I love Ruby, Steph and also Jasmine Koreshi!

I completely agree, I've never ever understood the hate for Alexandra because she hasn't ever came across as rude or 'aggressive' at all!

This is honestly heartbreaking - how much more is Daniel Wooton going to be allowed to do before he is dismissed? Caroline Flack, Alexandra Burke the list goes on.

Looking at BB7, I don't think it's fair to shrug Grace and in particular Nikki's behaviour off due to their age as they were both 19/20 when the show aired. Nikki in particular was incredibly transphobic and ageist, and her treatment of Sam is something that even back then stuck in my head as being incredibly cruel and wrong. I always find it so baffling that she was so respected in the BB circle.
