I mean, she did top the Itunes chart, and whilst it’s not the beast it once was surely some people must be taking her a little serious? I don’t think reality TV is as damaging as it once was either, and if the music is good she’ll be fine.

I think I was probably overreacting to be fair, because in hindsight they put on some amazing performances within it!

I went last night and did feel a little disappointed too, as it was my first time seeing them and I know how much hype they get as a live act - they put on such a show but the vocals did suffer at times which was disappointing. I still absolutely adore them & admire what they did, and Seceret Love Song was such a moment!

I’m gutted that Ella went & Sammie achieved his goal, but I think in hindsight it was the best way to get Georgina to see through him. Her meeting Ella and realising what she had actually done is probably my favourite moment across both seasons to be honest! I agree that it’s Georgina’s to lose at this point and I think I’m okay with that - in terms of likability she completely lost that for me when’s brooke went, but she’s definitely been a big character.

I agree, it’s almost like it’s just become unmissable viewing and so its ending - great that it’s going out on a high though!

We have though because we’ve seen her be incredibly sweet and ‘genuine’ to her face and then plot to get her out actively with the ‘COT’ I’m all for the game play element and I’m actually enjoying the show more since they have behaved this way, but it just doesn’t make them very likeable IMO a great set of contestants though.

Georgina’s only close friend isn’t Brooke though, as much as you are trying to push this idea.. She herself said last night, and again tonight that she was close with Ella and that she fees she’s being snakey towards her (before she stuck the knife in and plotted to get her out that is) Tonight’s episode was the best in the series so far though, and good to see the roles reverse on Sammie.

How is it though? I honestly don’t get how watching her tonight is showing her as anything but? I dunno, she’s been pretty catty throughout with her commentary although I found it quite endearing but I think over time she’s proven herself as your initial impression - a gobshite. She’s shown herself as vulnerable when the conversation around her ileostomy crops up which is sweet and her friendship with Brooke, but she is now backstabbing her friends by conspiring against them to eliminate them (like the exact thing of not worse than Tim before) so I don’t get how that’s not an ugly side to her. I know the aim of the game is to win etc and she’s living up to the rules of the game but I think the refreshing thing about Georgina was that she was honest and upfront in all aspects of the game, until now.

She was though - Georgina admitted herself tonight that Ella was one of the people she was close to? If we’re retreading the Brooke situation (which didn’t call for any energy like this because she was dull) then I think it’s pretty different. I’m not a Tim fan but he didn’t actively push to eliminate her, he thought someone else deserved a chance over her... Georgina etc are actively plotting against people who they considered friends (especially when zella is only apparently guilty of ‘brown nosing’ which is something Georgina has openly admitted to doing since Brooke left) You’re right it’s a game based on personalities so people are going to be shocked when people show really ugly sides to themselves to win.

How is Sammie calming Jan ‘my queen’ any better than Ella calling her momma bear?

Georgina is an absolute moron, and to turn on people such as Ella and to an extent Tim who were meant to be her ‘geez’ questions how genuine she’s been, as much as the others. James is a riot too, and comes across as not quite right but at least it’s spicing it up a bit - I just can’t get passed Georgina’s reaction.

you just know georgina is going to play along though - she said as much at the beginning about ella no longer being the glue that holds them all together or WTTE.

Just out of curiosity, what was it that you were expecting? The X Factor, to put it plainly is people battling it out for a recording contract and that was made clear that it wasn’t going to change for the celebrity version. In terms of the shows tag they had said the stars aren’t primarily known for their singing - this is a reach as some obviously have a level of singing background (although not mainly known for it i wouldn’t say) but i thought it was better sacrificing that for a good show of mainly competent singers instead of the comedy element. I get people are fed up of X Factor but I think they freshened it up where they could.

I really enjoyed this and it felt more fresh than before - it’s the X Factor though so you know roughly what you’re going to get but I did enjoy it! For me, TryStar were standouts but Jenny was great too!
