Not what I expected, this is giving me like… a Drag Race song :lol: Which is fine, I don’t hate that in its own place, but how has she done a gospel tinged X Factor’s winner’s song Heart FM fodder and then listing sex positions over a RuPaul beat… for the same era?! The whole appeal of her last era was she was doing music you’d only get from her, she was doing whatever the f*** she wanted and pushing things sonically, both of these songs are not at all inspiring or intriguing. I suppose she is still doing whatever she wants but it’s not really what I want from her at all.

Couldn’t agree more, I’ve said this loads but I really would have laughed if someone told me say 3 years ago that Addison Rae would be the one of the most exciting new popstars of this generation. She just really gets it and has such an appreciation for interesting and compelling pop music, each song she’s done is a little different from the last and pushing things that little bit more.

I’m catching up and there really is no wonder Natalie Cassidy left. Complete and utter character assassination.

It would be nice to finally see Giorgia at Eurovision, I’m worried about Simone Christicchi personally, just don’t see anything in that song at all. Elodie is my winner from this crop but looks like it’s not her year sadly.

This was the best season of the revival, absolutely incredible run of episodes, particularly from Stella, Schuey, Amy and Libby/Jared.

Spillers are less convinced Dovima is on, hunt is on for the fabled secret 11th queen :lol: Why is Nancy Drewing the cast lowkey the most fun part of a new season lmfao

It kinda feels like they couldn’t have this many weeks without critiquing Lexi and Jewels :lol: I’m kind of picturing Jorgeous’ AS9 Snatch Game where it’s highlighted for being bad but hysterical and then everyone else is like… Plastique’s Ali Wong :lol:

I did a mockup of a quick prediction of what I’d predict based on initial cast, assuming the same challenges as UKvTW2 which it wouldn’t be but still. Talent: Minty vs Fontana, Dovima elim Ball: Minty vs Sminty, Zahirah elim Ads: Kate vs Melinda, Naomy elim Snatch: Kate vs Melinda, Serena elim Rusical: Fontana vs Gawdland, Sminty elim Dance: Minty vs Fontana, Mariah elim Roast: Kate vs Melinda, Gawdland elim I see Kate and Melinda as the Hannah and Tia, Fontana and Minty as the lesser scale LGD and Marina. Minty is going to destroy fashion and performance, Kate and Melinda have comedy in the bag, I could see Mariah having kind of a Scarlet Envy run where she just by default does fine and ends up in the top a couple of times but doesn’t absolutely excel or make much of an impression. I don’t hate this cast tbh it just feels not thst balanced. I actually think Melinda wins tbh

Well that’s at least 2 episodes of the other divas :lol: And yep agreed, Marina’s SG I don’t even think was thaaat bad but it’s always going to be very very difficult for a non native speaker to be able to do a Snatch Game. Speaking of I dread to imagine the Snatch Game with this cast, Gawdland and Melinda are the only ones who actually did ok at it first time round (no I’m not including Kate, I will go to the grave hating that Kate Bush Snatch Game), but granted some of these have never even done it. Fontana is lowkey one of the worst Snatch Games I’ve seen avoid the bottom oop

I don’t think GAS helped either, it feels like you have to be a Ru girl previously to be favoured. Marina did have a huge boost but then she was a huge name in drag at home anyway. I suppose for a random Belgique girl or something, why would they want the financial pressure of going back on Drag Race to probably not be appreciated and have no chance of winning the crown :lol:

I actually don’t think it’s that bad, but Zahira of all UK queens is sending me. I wonder if they’re thinking about a UK All Strs and don’t want to use up all the best ones here or nobody wants to do it :lol: Gawdland is a bit random for Thai rep too out of all the seasons but she was kind of pulled on her season, as was Serena, so I’ll be interested to see them. With Fontana she is the absolute top choice for Sweden aside from Vanity who obviously did GAS already, so they did well there, and Melinda is pretty much the best choice they could have got for Canada. I do like thst this could go either way for most queens, so that’s good. I feel like with vTw2 you could pretty much call it. I’d be surprised at Fontana, Melinda and Kate not being in the final, but even then Fontana was abysmal at Snatch Game and I could see Melinda faltering with design or something and Kate at maybe performance or the dance thing from UKvTW2. Serena gives me wins for talent and girl group and bottom everything else :lol:

There is no way they are scraping as far down into the barrel as casting Dovima Nurmi :lol: Pretty sure she barely speaks English for one and is also high key a huge racist The Macarena is believe is still under “unknown” otherwise I am wondering if there might be a US non All Star queen on that nobody has noticed or kept an eye on because we assume they won’t be on.

That sounds much more like it. Fingers crossed Focus Is Power is just some of fluke and like an ironic jibe at those kind of songs :lol:

Rosa Parks is sending me, in what world would that even remotely be a good idea :lol:

As expected, Lindsey Coulson is absolutely outstanding, classic Waterloo Road right from the off.

Miz Cracker looms, she threatens to appear every time and hopefully it’s not true again this time.

Someone else who claims to have seen the episode has said Lexi is kind of yellow safe, she is called out as being so bad it’s good kind of like Jorgeous’ AS9 Snatch Game or Kate Butch’s Snatch Game where it’s kind of ambiguously low or high, oop Not sure I believe it as it’s not a reliable spiller and also I don’t think they would tease it in the trailer the way they did, I am thinking it’s a classic “next week” red herring where it makes it look like she’ll do bad and then she kills it instead

Watched this all yesterday and today, absolutely brilliant. So emotional and touching but never lost the comedy, I couldn’t have asked for a better ending personally.

I agree they just clearly didn’t care for Hormona, it could have been Kori over her easily in the bottom and her and Lana are both not giving much. I love Kori off the show, her YouTube is hilarious, but something just isn’t translating on the actual show and especially in the challenges. Lydia’s looks weren’t all perfect but I think at least she has a point of view, I kind of love that crafty DIYness to her aesthetic, you see her looks and know they are Lydia’s and for a Ball package that’s something I would give plus points to. Lana is just giving nothing and kind of acts like she is owed everything or is immediately an icon bc of Luxx? But she’s proven basically nothing herself, the only challenge she’s even remotely done well at was RDR Live.

I think Sminty maybe just models more and doesn’t have gigs as much, Zahira I am frankly baffled they would ask her over so many UK girls :lol: Kate Butch Fontana Mariah Paris Balenciaga Minty Fresh Serena Morena Sminty Drop Gawdland Melinda Verga Zahira Zapanta And possibly still The Only Naomy Look like they could be our cast, that’s still only 10 so possibly a mystery 11th.

I’m expecting a double win and everyone else does badly given the tea tbh :lol:
