X Factor 2011 || Live Shows - Week 9 || SEMI FINAL
If it is Kellys turn to pick first this week, how could she possibly steal her own song for Misha. If she has chosen it for Misha who already sang Survivor at Boot camp how did Misha manage to steal if from Little Mix Unless they wrote a song called Survivor which she took. :lol:

Alexandra Burke - Heartbreak On Hold
Thanks for the single updates, Alex really has a big era to match and hopefully exceed. I hope her Sophomore era is huge and she attempts to go Global. http://www.dailystar.co.uk/playlist/view/2...Burke-comeback/

Misteeq were amazing they had at least 8 Top 10 hits and all had something to offer the group. Little Mix have an identity created for them and I have not seen anything that makes them stand out. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aXOtgNtlvik...feature=related

They can sing without a doubt I do like their voices. The standard for girl groups in the UK currently is not that high. I do not think they are anywhere as good as even Parade. If you look at the Spice Girls, Misteeq or Sugababes 2 they are miles apart.

Have Little Mix already been given their Syco contract: Talay Riley In the studio today writing for 'Little Mix' Little Mix are four singers who were not considered good enough as soloists and are now going to win.The British love of mediocrity will never change.

Alexandra Burke - Heartbreak On Hold
^^^^^ I agree I think Alex does not showcase her soulful ballad voice enough. I like her uptempo numbers but nothing beats The Silence plus she was sensational at The MJ gig doing this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2aED1GTZvLA

X Factor 2011 || Live Shows - Week 9 || SEMI FINAL
Loosing Misha B at this stage would be pointless. She is by far the best performer and one of the few that would put on a huge show at Wembley. The final would be very dull without her or Amelia for that matter.

..And this is why teachers and public sector workers...
"Chancellor George Osborne has announced public sector pay rises are to be capped at 1% for two years, in his update on the state of the economy. The number of public sector jobs set to be lost by 2017 has also been revised up from 400,000 to 710,000" This just says it all that when the Tories need to make cuts or go after anyones money it is never the rich or the City. There is nothing left to be squeezed from public sector workers but Osbourne is still trying. Why has Nick Clegg been so quiet, we have not heard a peep out of him and his turn coat lapdogs in the Coalition. Len Mcluskey in The Guardian hits the nail on the head. "Wednesday's public sector pensions strike is more than industrial action; it is a national day of rebuke. The dispute represents many things beyond its central purpose of making ministers think again about trying to make public servants pay more, work longer, and receive less. It represents a rebuke to an elite, represented by the Conservative-dominated coalition, which has treated the banks and hedge funds in precisely the opposite way, giving them more to deliver less in lending and investment.It also represents a resurgence of the trade union movement after a long decline for which society has paid a price. As unions have declined we have seen a rise in both inequality and the powerlessness of the poorer" http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/20...rt-rebuke-elite

I really hope that it is just a rumour that Cannonball is the Winners single. Now Janet is out what it the point, it does not suit the others.

..And this is why teachers and public sector workers...
I had to laugh at Carole Malone on This Morning castigating the strikers with the lame defence that " David Cameron has stressed that times will be hard for everyone and we are all in the same boat, private sector workers and public sector workers". She is a rancid cow who has forgotten that she is not part of the ruling class. Why should the rest of us suffer for the fact that it is the banks, financial institutions and the governments unwillingness to make them pay their fair share that has got the country into this mess. Yet cuts in pensions, social services and benefits happens for the rest of us while City fat cats and board member continue to reap millions in pensions and bonuses.

X Factor 2011 || Live Shows - Week 9 || SEMI FINAL
Coldplay and Adele have good taste, why would they reduce themselves to playing on X-factor. It will be the same old, same old Michael Buble, Westlife and Take That. Although Gary supposedly wants Stevie Wonder for Marcus which would be incredible although unlikely to happen.

X Factor 2011 || Live Shows - Week 8
Marcus is not boring but Gary has turned him into a dull, not threatening, artist the older voters like. Marcus plays it so safe and I doubt he is like that in real life. If Marcus wins he will have a career like Joe. Not sure why some commentators still go on about his appeal to women.

X Factor 2011 || Live Shows - Week 8
Alexandra was very bland, humble and showed no personality while she was on the show in 2008. I imagine that is what the UK public liked. Misha is in a different league to anyone that has been on the X-factor stage because she can sing ballads, uptempo and rap and she puts on amazing performances. That is true that the young download generation are probably not the shows biggest fanbase. I imagine Misha and Amelia will do better as recording artists than Marcus and Little Mix who have nothing to distinguish them or makes them standout.

X Factor 2011 || Live Shows - Week 8
The music industry is not a charity where you need to be likeable. It takes confidence and self belief to build longevity. Mary J Blige, Madonna, Christina Aguilera,Whitney or Mariah are all Divas with attitude. The British would never have a Kitty or a Misha B take centre stage and win, it is a reflection of thier own insecurities that they like and value mediocrity and humility. X-factor winners have won based on nice personalities and the public liking thier humble personas but other than Alexandra ad Leona it never leads to success. More pleased that Janet has gone rather than Misha has stayed, she is likely to get an ugly backlash in the media and the crazies on DS.

X Factor 2011 || Live Shows - Week 8
You seem to forget that you give Misha and Misha fans shit every week. There is nothing remotely Nazi about admitting Janet was crap last night and it is delusional to state anything else. Janet was terrible, possibly the worst performance ever on the X-factor stage. Enjoyed reading your posts so Good Luck on Digitalspy.

X Factor 2011 || Live Shows - Week 8
At this stage poor vocal habits should have been ironed out, I think the acts are not to blame. Yvie Burnett was a proper vocal coach who managed to sort out the worst offenders not sure why she was given the boot. I think Marcus could be in trouble and hopefully MMM Bop MMM whats the next word Janet will be off.

iTunes Chart November (III)
Hopefully it will be Rihanna clinging onto No 1 for another week. It would be great if Emeli gets another Top 10 hit but she is climbing very slowly. Rhianna-4 and X-factor-0

X Factor 2011 || Live Shows - Week 8
If Misha had performed as badly as Janet, forgot her lyrics for the second time and "danced" like a wounded chicken, the Janet stans would have been going on about it for the rest of the week. Thinking Janets performance was poor has nothing to do with her voice or her memory lose, the performance was atrocious. There was nothing great about it although it was enjoyable for sure :lol:

X Factor 2011 || Live Shows - Week 8
Misha and Amelia better give the performance of their lives they both have really good songs. It would be great if they could both make the final.

iTunes Chart November (III)
Riri has really taken root in the No 1 spot but it would be too much to hope that she can do it for another week. What are the chances she can keep the very weak Wishing on a Star from getting to No 1.

LEAST Favourite song of 2010
You would think people would have enough respect and consideration to not vote for charidee singles. :lol:

X Factor 2011 || Live Shows - Week 8
Just seen the video on ITV 2 and have changed my mind about some of the acts. Of course Misha needs to start her career now she is so good. Marcus has such a beautiful voice. It is smooth, mellow and silky. He could easily manage soul and R&B songs. He is one of the highlights and I think with good material could do well. Not sure why JLS and 1D are tacked on the end that part was begging for a Kitty solo. After watching Little Mix who I barely noticed I do now think they have something. The blonde girl has an amazing recording voice.In the video though she outshines the other members so much and they are like her backing singers. Craig is just awful and is a nightmare to watch again his part should have gone to Kitty.

X Factor 2011 || Live Shows - Week 8
Janet sounds like a Chipmunk on helium that noise is even worse when recorded. It is hard to tell whose who but the other girls all sound very strong.
-
X Factor 2011 || Live Shows - Week 8
It would be good for Marcus to win but it would be awful for him to join the ranks of more flop males. If Gary is writing the winners song and is involved in his career Marcus will have no longevity. I think Marcus is more switched on and ambitious than he lets on but his fifties soul image is dead. The winner and the acts that get signed will need to release sooner rather than later. Coming back late next year is not workable.

X Factor 2011 || Live Shows - Week 8
Since when does media outrage and trashing stop pop careers in their tracks. Since time began from Mick Jagger, Diana Ross to Amy Whinehouse, Chris Brown and Christina A the press have given pop acts a hard time, when has it stopped a career even Michael Jackson was resurrected before he died. Cher was put through the fire last year and survived, young fans want good songs period. Amelia and Misha easily have the best chances of careers as they have the most talent,distinct images and single minded confidence. For Rooney it is wishful thinking but Little Mix are not even as good or original as Sugababes 4, the girl group is done. Janet is not even a Diana clone her voice is awful, she will be big in ireland though. Marcus will find it hard to move beyond his Bruno Mars tribute act but I hope he does well. Every year it is the same thing Leon, Joe, Matt will be huge :lol: but the voters rarely stay interested beyond the final because they are boring and do nothing original.
