  1. Lets hope so: The Conservative party will pay a political price for the Bombardier trains row and will lose a seat if it does not reverse a decision to select Siemens of Germany for a £1.4bn contract, according to a poll. Labour would win the nearby South Derbyshire constituency back from the Tories with a substantial swing because voters are angered by the looming loss of 1,400 jobs at the Bombardier factory in the centre of the city. According to a poll by Survation, the Tories' share of the vote in South Derbyshire would slump from 45.5% a year ago to 31.9%, with Labour claiming the seat by shooting up to 45.9%. In Derby North, a Labour marginal, the incumbent would race ahead of the Tories in a general election and raise Labour's share of the vote to 51.1% compared with 33% in 2010. The Tories' share in that seat would fall from more than 31% to 23%. The Liberal Democrats would suffer heavy losses in both seats. http://www.guardian.co.uk/business/2011/au...outh-derbyshire
  2. Her new sound does not suit her, I think she will go Top 20 and drop quickly.I hope she gets more support from Commercial radio this era.
  3. In the real world though Internationally procurement contracts are rarely an above board, corruption free domain so it is ridiculous when so much is at stake that the Condems are worried about there reputation. This issue will hardly hang over them and cause them long term damage if they change there mind. Considering the hacking scandal, MPS expenses the reputation of politicians is not lilly white. It is wrong to think companies would change there mind about applying for contracts as there goal is to make money, it is a disgrace that British workers are being overlooked.
  4. The full quote is "A sudden decision to reverse a procurement decision in response to what could look like political pressure would cause significant damage to the Government’s reputation as a trustworthy counterparty" What World is Cable now living in it is a shame because he used to have principles. No one anywhere sees the Condems as being trustworthy other than the Chipping Norton set.Cameron is just another Thatcher he has no interest in the working class.

Not really surprised about Heart they seem to play only 4 or 5 songs from the past decade and are always slow to play new music.I listened the other day for a few hours and apart from Beat Again, Bad Boys and Jar of Hearts everything was from the 80's and 90's.

How sad one of the greatest Motown songwriters has died RIP Nick Ashford the man behind Ain't No Mountain High Enough,Reach Out And Touch Somebody's Hand, You're All I Need To Get By (made famous by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell) I'm Every Woman and his own mega hit Solid As a Rock with wife Valerie. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/music/m...es-aged-70.html

Really good news for Will, his album has every chance of going to No 1.It is a shame that some UK radio stations will push any American act non-stop but UK acts still have an issue getting decent airplay.
  8. Will has a good chance at going to No 1 (Runaway should have been the lead single though). Not sure why Joe has been turned into the younger, saner version of Susan Boyle, I kind of feel sorry for him and hope he can go Top 30 at least.

Are we still going over this point-If the songs are good she will do well fat or thin, in Kellys case when has it ever mattered.
  10. No it really did not occur to anyone that Trump was not serious. He did all the right things like start an investigation into whether Obama was born in Kenya and become best buddies with Sarah Palin, he sure had me fooled. What are you trying to say Grimly Fiendish surely that dead, ginger cat on Trumps head is his own natural, glossy hair and not a weave-on.

I am sure X-factor will be plugging X-factor acts heavily.I thought they were trying to stop contestants singing Adele songs.I am sure there will be many Bruno and Take That songs played during the show. Wretch-32 could be caught by Emeli by this evening, I wonder if his sales will hold up until Sunday.

All Fired Up is the best song after Ed and has the best video but The Saturdays seem cursed to never hit No 1.They seem to peak early and are sure to drop to 2 or 3.

I attend a concert to listen to the singer sing and perform, they could be wearing a bin liner, why would that matter to me.Adele,Angie Stone, Jill Scott are larger sized, would that make me enjoy them less as artists - no.Lissie has no stylist, that does not make her less of a singer.Kelly is not fat and it is a shame that she should be judged on that and not her voice.

That would be brilliant if Ed got to No 1 fro 2 wks his song is by far the best but I think Pixie will promote like mad that week.I wonder if Kelly Clarkson will pose a threat her song is sure to be strong.

Please do not bring that rubbish here no women needs to do anything about her size unless she wants to.If Kelly is happy in her own skin and confident that is all that matters. She sings and performs better than her audience and yes you did use the same argument constantly on Popjustice. Looking forward to this release I hope her fanbase is still solid and se gets Top 10 in single and album.
  16. Based on that quote cowardly, unsympathetic and incapable of relating to real people he has all the attributes of would be Presidential candidate maybe, possibly, this time Donald Trump. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/08/16/d...y_n_928597.html
  17. I think Abracadabra would make a better US single this sounds like Katy Perry Lite it does not stand out. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pGbFleF-eF0

You have been doing so well-Not true alot of rappers are good singers and there is not one who is a worst artist than Bieber.Tinnie, Drake, B.O.B, Kanye West and Nicky Minaj all sing and rap.
  21. Thanks for the update, I wonder where we will hear the song surely we should have had a leak by now. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_KbDu3aW8s8..._medium=twitter

Wretch 32 already up to 2, I am stunned but hopefully he can stay at No 1 for 2 wks.
  24. I really hope Michelle Bachmann and the Tea Party loons manage a firm grip on the Republican Presidential candidates it will be Obamas only hope of winning.Surprised Romney did not do better in the straw poll. http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/ci...art-of-comments

Really shocked at Maroon 5 but pleased for Christina she has been MIA for too long from the charts.I thought either Tinnie or Wretch 32 would go to No 1 this week but hope Emeli goes Top 5.Dont Go is by far the best song Wretch has put out and it makes a change from the usual Urban stuff coming out of the UK.
