I think it is a tie between the two of them, what have our ears done to deserve this rubbish it seems to be never ending at the moment.

I imagine some of the older types at Syco thought the white girl doing black would work as a marketing tool but it always ends badly and even the good ones have had a hard time making it big-Lady Sov. I think Cher has been modelled on Jentina http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CqfUwcb4hok...feature=related
  3. Cheeky-credit where credit is due it is good that Olly has made a real effort with his comeback single.
  4. I actually like this and hope he does well, it is a good Summer tune and I loves me some featured artists.

The day you actually have something good to say about a Rap song is the day I praise Cheryl Cole-never going to happen is it :P I now hope the next few weeks has nothing but Urban and faux urban songs going to No 1.

That is true the only song that will dominate the August charts at No 1 for a few weeks is Tinnie Tempah and Wiz Khalifa, the video is out, I am sure it will be playlisted by everyone, the tune is actually very catchy.

It is obvious that Tinnie/Wiz Khalifa or Wretch will have a good chance at No 1 for much of August and for a good few weeks. It is likely to be 1 week No 1s for everybody else except DJ Fresh.JLS will get to No 1, the Wanted have a very slim chance.

tut tut vidcapper I think you should check yourself in for treatment, this hatred of rappers has gone too far.Loick Essien is as much of a rapper as Kesha is.Not a fan of LE but pleased he is doing well. Bashy is the best UK rapper, he is head and shoulders above the rest not sure why he is not huge.

On the contrary this is a well deserved Top 10 placing not only because it is off her own label but all the songs are UK Soul classics with a new edge.I love the album and am very pleased for her.

I dont think the issue is about toning down her image, making her less confrontational or the gimmicks it is starting her out with a song that actually shows she has talent I cannot believe this was the best from her months of recording. It is odd that even The Sun which tends to avoid attacking the X-factor brand is not playing ball. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/showb...nt-impress.html

Yes you are one of those :P -its a shame that when her stans comment on twitter and YT they are not just honest and admit the song is poor and surely she has better.Such is the nature of coming from X-factor you will get alot of haters. Top 10

It is just the first day though I imagine come next week the dislike button will be huge.I wonder if there are better songs on the album. I do not understand who would consider this song the right one to kick off a campaign.

Katie was always going to flop, she never had a strong fanbase on the show and has been trying to build a career in music for years. It did not help that Cowell was clearly trying to keep her in because of controversy instead of a good singing voice. It is hard to tell what will happen to Matt, I like him but the X-factor boys seem to be cursed. Rebecca I think will surprise everyone she is signed to Epic and is sure to get good songs.I think there is a gap in the market for more Adele type singers so I think she will do well.
  14. Things seem to have stalled for Charice, I think the singles that have been released in the US so far have not done well so not sure whether they will even get a UK release. It is a shame but she needs a stronger team to ensure a higher profile as she is a great vocalist.
  15. I think it will be too risky for her to leave it as long as 2013.She needs to have an album out for early 2012 and to try and get a single out by the end of the year, so at least she can do X-factor promotion.

I really hope Cher Lloyd flops Swagger Jagger is beyond a joke and Syco need to pull there socks up, similarly I wish Jedward would just go away, forever, anywhere but there comeback will flop.Parade just need a really strong track and to click with the public, equally I think the same for Soundgirl it is not looking good but I think a strong song could turn things around.Melody Thornton with the brilliant Sweet Vendetta not sure why it flopped.I feel for Alesha Dixon I do not know why things have gone so wrong for her but she has flopped.
  17. I disagree I think Diana could easily have become a mainstream artist. The initial promotion for Once and the album were excellent and Diana was everywhere being treated like an A-list artist and the results were a No 1 single and album. The wheels started to come off with the Boy who Murdered Love-bland song and bland video. There were at least 4 or 5 songs that were really good singles like Youll Never Get to Heaven,Put it Back Together, Numb or Notice.I think her promotion seemed to stall and then depend on the X-factor which did not work.It would be good to see her with a label like Epic.

I've changed, I am sure you have noticed my comments have been less catty and much lighter-I have not had a row at all this month. :P

Dear me back from a nice holiday and in such a sour mood I think you should return.4 is by no means Beyonces best album but Best Thing I Never Had is a beautiful ballad and one of the best No 1's of the year so far.Hope ballads make a big comeback now.

I dont think anyone is taking it personally but to claim that the crowd looked "bored" were you actually watching or are you Zane Lowe. Her stans seemed to rush to the front of the stage but everyone else behind seemed to be really into her and having a good time.

Really hope Beyonce has a blinding week she really earned it after her Glasto gig.She snatched wigs and lace fronts and was incredible.Really annoyed at the haters still claiming that Rap and Pop have no place at a Rock gig, to me it seems that they take offence at certain artists being invited.Zane Lowe needs to remember that Rock originated from Black musicians not Indie acts.

Not at all Jonjo if this had been Alexandr'sa comeback single most of her fans would have expressed a dislike for it.Just as many hated Start without You and expressed there dislike but clearly people outside of just her fanbase liked it.I think Cher is better than this lazy song and as Chris Moyles said it is like 3 old men in a room decided what passes for hip and trendy.I do not expect much from Savan Kotecha who should just stop making music but Autume Rowe should be ashamed of herself-it is very poor.

Actually it is wise for Example to pick on women can you imagine how Dappy, Wiley or even Professor Green would chew him up and leave a pile of bones. I hope the Record companies will now backtrack on on air/on sale as the UK acts are not benefitting from it.Parade have stalled now. http://www.musicweek.com/story.asp?section...1045613&c=1

I am surprised that Melody Thornton and Sweet Vendetta have done nothing-it is a tuunneee.

I think the real issue is that he needs to man up. What 29 year old man always picks on young women and never gets into a twitter beef with another man.It is weak and sad.Plus he looks like a yeti, not sure why he would comment on someone elses looks. He will be backtracking soon enough saying it was a misunderstanding though.
